Woke an hour ago, and still awake now.
4 year old ds wet his bed, so came in with us.
He has a cough, and is snuggled into my back, so everytime he coughs, his knees hit me.
Rather than getting stressed and panicked by the fact I have to be at the school early today to set up for the christmas fete, I've decided to just go with it.
So I'm mmetting, and listening to ds cough and dh snore.

Wish me luck!

TigerBreadAddict · 03/12/2016 05:39

I've put the heating on too! Brew Brew Brew Brew Brew Brew

puppydogmummy · 03/12/2016 05:44

Can I join you? Hav sick dog who gets first lot of meds at 5 am. He'll settle down to sleep but that's me awake. I've a big event at work today followed by a birthday tea so by seven o clock tonight I'll be snoring on the sofa!

TigerBreadAddict · 03/12/2016 05:46

Tardis Captain . Octonauts HQ would be too claustrophobic.

MonumentsAndMelodies · 03/12/2016 05:47

Can I join? Second morning of being woken up with a raging water infection :( Didn't want to wake dp getting out of bed every 10 mins for a wee so brought baby dd downstairs with me at half 4. Been mnetting since then, going to be another long day sigh

MintyLizzy9 · 03/12/2016 05:48

waves

awake since 4, DS still fast asleep so can't even blame him! Also have a busy day today and will be a miserable cow by about lunchtime!

Octonaut HQ.

Would you rather sleep with Farage once a week forever or marry Trump forever but never have to sleep with him

amysmummy12345 · 03/12/2016 05:49

Cheers tiger Brew got so much to do today, mum was rushed in hospital, got to sort out shopping for my dad today, juggle 3 year old and six month old, visit mum, sort house out ready for Xmas decs... Shall we have an early one tonight?

QueenofLouisiana · 03/12/2016 05:52

Marry Trump. I can hide in one of the 300 rooms of his houses. Couldn't cope with being near Farage's rubbery face.

Would you rather drink warm white wine or cold coffee?

TigerBreadAddict · 03/12/2016 05:53

Today: I have to either look after neighbour kid & DS1 and tidy up the shit pit that is the living room OR take DS2 to gymnastics; then visit our storage unit and prepare stuff for indoor car boot tomorrow, then put the tree up, then ride on a Santa Special steam train! Should probably also put something in slow cooker for when we get back...

MrsMontgomerySmythe · 03/12/2016 05:53

Wide awake here too for the last hour.

DS ended up in my bed at 3.... And is a fidgeter.

Then there was a noise as if someone was breaking in so had to investigate that one armed with a kitchen knife!

My DP does not live here as is a single dad and has his kids this weekend - or he would have led the hunt!

Think it was actually a squirrel on our roof or in our attic (sigh).

Am not great with rodents so will not be going up to look. Hopefully it was a one off.

Think I will dig out the Christmas lights (which are thankfully in the cellar and not the attic!) and check they work.

Luckyaide · 03/12/2016 05:53

Trump, you could try and bring him down, and spend lots of cash. Tired here too, thus rubbish argument. Coffee sounds good

SunnySideDownUp · 03/12/2016 05:58

Awake feeding a sleeping baby. I finally have a baby that sleeps, and I have to wake every 3 hours to feed her. (Disclaimer: she has a heart problem and tube feeds. I'm not crazy for punishment!)

I'm torn between having tea and toast, or trying to go back to sleep. We're hopefully going home from scbu today so I'm a bit excited!

icklekid · 03/12/2016 06:00

Grabs cup if tea from tigers tray- thanks! Brew

Woke at 4.45 when ds wondered in he then woke 4 month old ds so fed and finally got her back to sleep but I'm now wide awake. Thankfully dh took ds downstairs so I'm browsing christmas presents despite having finished shopping 🙈

Would you rather always have to say what you think or never be able to speak again?

Eminybob · 03/12/2016 06:01

Morning.

I've been awake since about 4.30 and finally decided to come downstairs for tea and toast as I'm starving
I've been waking at the same time every morning for the last week. I usually take meds to help me sleep but haven't since finding out I'm pregnant and just waiting to speak to the midwife to see if I can continue taking them.
In the mean time though I'm spending the early hours worrying about the pregnancy (have been in epu this week due to bleeding)
I have to go to work in a few hours and feel like a zombie Sad

8DaysAWeek · 03/12/2016 06:03

Good morning all! It's now almost an acceptable time to be awake (though maybe not on a Saturday) but I've been lying awake for a while. DS (4 months) wakes about a trillion times a night and we bed share (another non-put-downer) but to be fair to him he's been not too bad tonight. I'm stressing over having 3 Christmas night outs over the festive period - one being tonight - and having literally zero post pregnancy going out clothes and next to zero spare cash.

Anyway, I'd rather drink warm wine than cold coffee.

Would you rather secretly have sex with a goat or have everyone think you had sex with a goat when you didn't?

Getnakedorgohome · 03/12/2016 06:03

I'm up. I have choc biscuits and a teasmade so hot tea at my bedside. Toddler ds is being bribed to stay quiet with the tablet, milk and a figure biscuit. I'm mumsnetting and Amazon prime shopping!

QueenofLouisiana · 03/12/2016 06:04

Alarm has gone off- we're up and off for the day. Urge!

8DaysAWeek · 03/12/2016 06:04

Ooh sunny that would be wonderful Smile take it little one is doing well?

Getnakedorgohome · 03/12/2016 06:05

8Days let them think what they want! I wouldn't have sex with a goat. I've never been bothered what other people think of me Smile

QueenofLouisiana · 03/12/2016 06:05

Oops, posted too soon. Urge to sleep has now overwhelmed me.

Why does that always happen?

Introvertedbuthappy · 03/12/2016 06:06

Wish I'd seen this earlier but was too busy weeping on the stairs...
7.5 month old DS2 is a shit sleeper. Was up at 9, 11, then half 1 for 1.5 hours before getting up for the day at 4:45.

Ilovenannyplum · 03/12/2016 06:22

I've been awake since. 5, we're moving into our lovely new house today and I'm too excited to sleep Grin

Enjoy the Christmas fete OP Xmas Smile

WeedlesHatOfDisappointment · 03/12/2016 06:22

I'm now downstairs with both ds's. I was looking forward to a morning of not sorting out the kids, but it seemed silly waking dh up when I'm already awake. He is getting a lie in till 730, then I'm dumping the boys on him and having a shower.
The fucking elves dh have left all the singing christmas toys out overnight for ds. I've told ds he is not allowed anywhere near them at the moment!!

WeedlesHatOfDisappointment · 03/12/2016 06:26

Oh and I'd rather people think I'd shagged a goat..
I'd also say what I think rather than not speak at all.
