Do I put my cat at risk or is DH a worry wart.

DH has just had a go at me.

Every few weeks I make the cat aged 1 year 5 months scrabbled egg. It's a little treat normally as I know cat food is better for her.

DH thinks I have put her at risk because cats shouldn't eat eggs.

Aibu to feed cute little cat eggs.

It always makes me giggle a bit seeing concern over things like this as my current cat was from a farm cat colony. The mama cats used to bring absolutely stinking half-rotten rabbits (at least I think they were rabbits, I couldn't tell at that level of decomposition! Confused) for their weaning baby kittens to eat. EEEEEW! The smell was horrendous.

When I was younger I went through some financial trouble and for a while didn't have any money for cat food, so my cats ate scrambled egg from the local farm instead for days until I got paid. They loved it. They lived to very old ages.

When MCat had his nuts removed, his vet recommended scrambled eggs during recovery from the op.

If you saw what your cat eats outside when you're not around you really wouldn't worry about eggs... Or salted butter... Or milk. They're fairly sturdy animals and none of the above will kill them
