I love mine too but it's now gone on a go slow - the barrel isn't turning freely anymore. Any suggestions?

I feel like I'm slightly wasting my first post here by not saying something troll-y (Wine) but I LOVE mine. I bought my first one - use a lot, replace maybe every 18 months - when it first came out as I have really frizzy, awful hair that just doesn't do anything right at all, and since then I can't live without it. It makes me feel like a fat, poor Kate Middleton. I do find that at first, until the bristles give a bit, it can tug slightly but after that it's a dream. It takes me about 20 minutes to do my hair (rough dry, then shove up and Big Hair in really badly done sections) but it lasts for a day or two and all the frizz is gone and I end up with big bouncy hair. If the house burnt down I'd definitely save it first.

I hate mine. Just doesn't work with my hair

I had the small barrelled one and thought that was why, bought the original, have used it twice and still hate it.

I'll give you it for £20

I gave mine away.
Too much hassle.

Loved mine and used it for every hair wash pre-child. But now that time is tighter, I have recently discovered the ceramic heated straightening brush and find it more convenient. However if I do get a few minutes extra free, the Babyliss gives a much better look.

My hair is super thick so I'm not trying to add volume, just get rid of the patches of frizz and kinks and oddness that hang out in my otherwise straight hair.

I often use it on completely dry hair also, to give a bit of a polished finish if heading out in the evening

I'm onto my 4th one (they've each lasted about 18 months).

I like it, and it's far better than anything else I've used, but it's not perfect.

I have very thick, dry, coarse hair - and the BBH renders it presentable. Great. However, if there's even an ounce of moisture in the air, the swoohiness is lost and the frizziness takes hold. And that's no matter which products I use in it.

TheDowagerCuntess · 19/11/2016 02:16

And yes, hair has to be at least 95%, if not 100% dry.

LucyBabs · 19/11/2016 02:26

You're not using it properly if you need to use a straightener afterwards! Surely the result is having big hair not straight hair?!
I have frizzy hair..

PamDooveOrangeJoof · 19/11/2016 12:55

I get the volume and texture with the big hair but as I have layers it kicks out at the ends so that's why I use the straighteners to finish to have it dead straight
