Seriously man. What were you thinking?

Every time I hear you singing "Golden Brown" I feel pain.

YABU. Stop it.

Just stop.

Stop.

I haven't heard it but honestly, why shouldn't he? He probably really likes singing and had a nice time recording it, and he will sell plenty and get money. Wouldn't you have done it if you were him? (I agree it would have been better if he had done funny songs though.)

'Fields of Gold' made me want to tear my ears of when Sting did it. AA's version is a million times worse. Heinous.

Everyone knows Golden Brown is about heroin - including Alexander Armstrong.

I've always assumed he knows his album is shit too as he's actually a talented classical singer and very interested in culture and the arts - I'm just wondering what he's blown all his money on that he's decided to do it.

Maybe he has a secret golden brown habit Grin

Sweets, I quite fancied him in a #mumcrush kind of way. Then I saw the album advert. Instant lust killer. All that 'man at C&A' vacant staring into space made my fannygallops retreat in horror.

I once sat gobsmacked, watching him sing 'Gold' on some daytime show. Tony Hadley could ham up that song, but AA's performance made my body hair crawl back into my follicles. Confused

I'm trying to think of a whole album of cover songs about heroin he could do-

Golden Brown
Heroin (natch)
Waiting for the Man
There She Goes
Perfect Day
Cold Turkey

Can anyone think of any others?

Did anyone see him on Saturday kitchen last weekend (or was it the weekend before?), promoting something he was doing for Armistice Day. Instead of sitting at the table whilst the chefs were cooking he was stood in the kitchen bit. He was right in the way. Every time the female guest chef moved, she looked at him like Angry. Get. Out. Of. The. Way.

If you want a great alternative Christmas album for your Granny, may I offer up John Cooper Clarke and Hugh Cornwell. JCC sings a song just brilliantly.

Feel a bit cringe for AA.

I imagined this as an Alan Partridge voiceover.
