"we're pregnant"

Urgh - does anyone else find this intensley irritating or is it just me?

Really really grates on me.

Glad it's not just me!

It makes my teeth itch - eurrrghhhh. I was in an antenatal class the other day and the guy said 'we are 26 weeks pregnant, and we are due on the 5th Feb'. You could actually feel the room cringe.

That works too! Never had to do it, but often wondered if that's why some people do it ...

"We are pregnant" has long been my red rag to a bull phrase but it has just been replaced with "we are breastfeeding". I am breastfeeding. MY nipples cracked, MY breasts were engorged for 2 weeks and I do every. single. feed. Day and night. Fuck off with "we are breastfeeding". Fuck right off.
