I suspect you might be better off putting your sewing stuff in the tent, and accepting that your sewing box is hers now!
I am fighting a running battle with CatBastard - he wants to be fed outdoors, on the garden table, but I want to feed him on the utility work top, so I don't end up feeding all the neighbourhood crows, gulls and other winged vermin as well. Not to mention having to watch the dogs, because they can clear his bowl,in an instant, as soon as he turns his back on it.
I have won the battle to get him to eat cat food, rather than tuna (having been told on here it was bad for him) but the garden battle is ongoing. You'd think he'd have learn d by now that, if he doesn't want his food eaten by the birds or the dogs, it is better to eat inside - but no.
He will eat, in the worktop - I have caught him there several times. But if he sees me, he goes and sits on the garden table and shouts at me.
