To ask if the salary offered is crap, reasonable, or good?

I've been out of work for so long bringing up the family and have lost touch with all reality

It seems that to talk about money amongst friends is not the done thing, and I can't seem to find out how the salary offered compares to others in my area

Don't want to go into too much detail for fear of outing myself, but after deductions I will take home £350 a week for almost full time, 5 days a week Monday to Friday. Does it sound like not a lot, or OK?

I live in the north east if it helps.

Many thanks in advance for any feedback!

Potential pay sounds good.

The fact you would be self employed rings massive alarm bells. That means no sick pay, no holidays, no job security and the fact of having to do your own tax returns every year.

What's MLM?
Multi-level marketing, aka pyramid selling.

Kittenmummy1 · 19/11/2016 20:46

Did this start as a sort of crafty MLM hook?

conkerpods · 19/11/2016 23:32

Ah ok.

Letseatgrandma · 19/11/2016 23:41

You're self employed but your employee will pay your NI?!

That could be OK money. It could be crap.

I earn that on 3 days a week so for me-that wouldn't be great money, but I have qualifications and experience.

Why can't you give us more information? Who would possibly see your post and know this is about you!?

Is MLM responsible for all those sickly FB posts about working long hours then having a baby and looking into their eyes and realising there must be more to life. Now earning mega bucks and offering to PM everyone the secret of your success? They have always looked dodgy to me and I'm always amazed that so many people ask to be PMd.
