Converse: should I size up?

That's it really. I'm a size 6 with average width feet. I'd like to wear thicker socks with them in the winter. Watcha say?

I have slightly broader feet in the toes (toe to toe span - think feminine hobbit feet without the hair).
I buy the same size Converse as I do any other shoe but if you're going to use with thick winter socks I would go up a size. I don't think the shoe will be noticeably bigger to other people, just more comfortable for you.
I also own a pair that is one size bigger because I can't say no to a Converse bargain and my feet don't swim around in the extra space iyswim. That said, I can wear thicker socks with these for a more perfect fit.

Cons are the most comfortable trainers for me & DD and they have never rubbed.

YANBU. I think you need to size up. I'm 5.5-6 and 6 are ok. Slightly tight on my little toe so I wear thin socks. I tried 7 but they were like a clown's show, I couldn't get half sizes in the shops where I was.

My Dainty converse are marked 7/41/26.5 cm and my low top chuck taylors are 7/40/25.5 cm. The daintys are actually smaller and I need thinner or no socks to wear them.

I normally fit a 41 but not a 40 and have narrow feet, so maybe this is why Converse fit me well and don't rub, while most other shoes do?

Good job I'm still a casual grungy student type at 43 .

The description talks about comfy insoles and what not, so I'm hoping they're true to size for me, or I break into them well, even though the reviews mark them as slightly smaller. Fingers crossed eh?!

I wear a 6 in all shoes including converse. They come up true to size I would say. I have wide feet but my converse are very comfy.
