Now that was good...but about 15 years ago, I woke up and the thought of drinking coke made me feel sick. Haven't touched it since

7UP is grim. But it's what I take to parties and give the kids as takeaway treats etc as no sweeteners colours or caffeine. It's really hard to find any other without caffeine. I'm just frequently really sad that is all there is in the fridge when I want a fizzy drink full of crap for me.

I love root beer mrstiggy but only ever come across it at super expensive American restaurants/pub diners. I had an amazing one that smelt just like TCP at a way overpriced 'gourmet' burger place a few weeks ago. When did Macdonalds sell it?! In the UK?

I'd forgotten about the insane need (Ireland, 1970s - don't know if it's still a thing) to boil lemonade in the belief it would cure you of just about anything.

I'm another Cherry Coke fan but I currently drink the Coke that has nothing in it - no sugar, no caffeine, no fun. Fizzy water, basically.

R Whites used to be king of the lemonades until it was corrupted by disgusting sweeteners.
