I can't believe the tone of this thread. I would bet that the absolute vast majority of us here have never met this woman, let alone know her. I'm not particularly a fan of our celebrity culture but I clicked on this because I find it interesting how dehumanised celebrity women are.
Cheryl may or may not be pregnant. I would hate to be a celebrity because pregnancy isn't particularly glam (currently 27 weeks myself) and my skin, hair and face shape change. My foundation oxidises on me (looks like Cheryl's has too) and I feel much more tired. I wouldn't want some hideous camera pointing in my direction.
More than that, as a celebrity, the minute you announce a pregnancy the media thinks it has rights over you AND your baby. I would hit top note if a pap came anywhere near my baby, let alone a gaggle of them following me down the street or chasing my car. One of the loveliest joys is taking a new baby out on a fresh crisp day for a walk. Imagine having some awful long lense in your face for that.
I wouldn't be announcing either and I feel that this celebrity culture really is hurtful to women, far more than men. The sooner we stop idolising people for their popularity the better.
