There should be a better standard of baking. So much bad pastry!

Very difficult for me. I think Candice is the best baker but I just cannot stand her What's with all the gurning?

I loved Selasi but think it was time for him to go. Agree standard has been rather low this year. I would like Jane to win but I think the producers have set Candice up to win.

Candice does seem to be a bit like marmite people either love her or hate her!

I love Candice, but I haven't seen anything so far I couldn't have cooked at home!

I thought this was quite a cruel episode. the poor contestants don't have enough time. Jane knew that she should have used buttercream to de crumb.

I really like Candice. The mouth movements are strange. I bet the impression she is trying to hide her teeth or something because she always purses her lips over them or sticks her tongue in the way.

See the pouting doesn't bother me..but I have a 3 year old and I get it too many times a day to notice

She has had a lot of stick about the pouting - and then about her teeth which I don't get (can't see anything wrong with her teeth!)

She's been my fave since the pub ginger bread house - gotta love a sticky carpet!!

Agree they've not been given enough time.

That comment Paul made judging the technical bakes tonight showed that - he wouldn't be forgiving about the effects of them decorating hot cakes if he thought it was possible to cook it and cool it properly before decorating in the time permitted.

Gosh yes Candices gurning is irritating beyond belief and the standard is so much lower than previous years. I would quite like Andrew to win.

Shall - Paul always has a little crush on at least one contestant! Keep it in your pants and away from the muffins boy!

That's what I think - set up to fail.

They aren't given enough time - one week they were standing there, fanning their cakes to cool them. Come on - they can't ALL have overrun the time through incompetence. And today Mary said "These should really be made the day before decorating to give them time to firm up"- and them complained that they were crumby.

If they're going to have a competition, at least give them a chance of doing the job properly.

I'm trying to like Candace, but the thought of her gurning all over Tv and media if she wins is a put off.

I quite like Jane. Dunno. Just not that bothered really.

I shan't miss it when it goes from the BBC....doubt I'll keep watching. It feels like it's run it's course.

Andrew is a sweet young man. It would be nice to see him win, but he's just not that great a baker. Always making mistakes.

Basically Chanel 4 have paid a rediculous amount of money for a format and no talent!

They're not as good this year at all.

I can't see anyone from this year getting a career out of the show. Nadiya is a bit of a one off in getting so much presenting work, but I think all the other winners have had successful books and even some of the runners up. This series they're neither interesting as people or inspiring as cooks.

I think they are making it obvious Candice is going to win - can't bear her but she is definitely going to win.

I like Jane and actually think she deserves to win but it won't happen.
