I did have a look for a Facebook selling thread but couldn't find one so had to make a new thread.

Someone has once paid £100 for these shoes! WTAF?

Ok I could do this with my untouched shoe cupboard of dust all evening Grin

I find the name a bit ironic considering they are mass produced and sold in Schuh.

Bogeyface · 15/10/2016 23:03

I want them eric!

Although if I had to pick one pair it would be the ones with the gold Darth Vader head!

EricNorthmanIsMine · 15/10/2016 23:04

I fully appreciate that IC are absolute Marmite but I love them and I'm not 'faux quirky' Hmm ... I'll 'fess up to not having kids and being in my late 30s with a general 'couldn't give 2 fucks what anyone else thinks' attitude and my own style. Maybe if i had kids and had to be more sensible i wouldn't be wearing Alice heels ... but we'll never know Grin

Bogeyface · 15/10/2016 23:05

Hobnails they are really nice, lovely with a LBD.

EricNorthmanIsMine · 15/10/2016 23:07

StarDiamonds I work in a non customer facing office based role .... not a funky advertising or marketing company, just one who apreciates that I do my job very well wearing any type of shoes Grin

Sallystyle · 15/10/2016 23:08

Ohhh Eric They are so fabulous!

Eric I have worn some pretty out-there stuff. Really out-there! What I mean by faux quirky is that although they look like someone's knocked them together on a drunken rampage through the toy box with a tube of glue, they are mass produced and widely available.
I would have more respect for them if someone had actually made them to sell on FB. As in, uniquely crazy not mass-produced, commercial crazy.

44PumpLane · 15/10/2016 23:18

My very. Dry tame IC wedding shoes- so comfy on the day. Wide fitting and low, wide heel so no sinking in the grass!

44PumpLane · 15/10/2016 23:19

That was meant to say "my very very tame"

StarDiamonds · 15/10/2016 23:31

They are really cute 44!

Enkopkaffetak · 15/10/2016 23:43

I LOVE Irregular choice shoes as does DD2 she has a pair I LOVE them.

Yes I would pay £100 for a pair of shoes and do semi regular for my work ones, trainers, Doc Martens and Irregular choice ones

Shurelyshomemistake · 15/10/2016 23:48

Christ on a bike. I thought this was a joke. Then I googled and found these made by the same company:

I am speechless.

GeezAJammyPeece · 15/10/2016 23:52

I love my irregular choice shoes, I have a few pairs, all are extremely comfy ( the shaped heels are actually far sturdier and offer better weight distribution than 'regular' heels IMHO)

They are incredibly hard wearing & longlasting , and for that reason POSSIBLY even worth the £100+ price tag. That being said, I've never paid full price for a pair..

More money than sense.

Please if anyone knows the buyer of said shoes, contact your local MP facility because if they were fool enough to spend £100 on these monstrosities who knows what they are capable off🤐

MistressMolecules · 15/10/2016 23:59

I've never heard of irregular choice shows before but just looked on their site and there are shoes and boots I would like if only funds permitted!

ThisUsernameIsAvailable · 15/10/2016 23:59

I was looking at some fairly tame irregular choice shoes the other day. Oh asked if I would like them or another pair for my birthday, I said no.

Apparently I'm crazy according to Facebook friends with no taste

SailingThroughTime · 16/10/2016 00:02

I don't usually mind getting old except looking at that website and realising I'd look moe Widow Twankey than trendy in those now makes me Sad
Wish I'd had the confidence when I was younger.
Actually...remembering some of the stuff I wore...Smile

EleanorAbernathy · 16/10/2016 00:14

I don't like the ones in the OP, but these arrived from eBay yesterday! I'm watching a similar pair in purple too.

I have some old ones which are amazing shoes. They're quirky in a pared back way. Just nice detailing.

The new ones are naff. It's just shit stuck on top of more shit. And they cost twice the price. I don't get it.

I do keep an eye out for old styles though as I had a gorgeous pair of tbar maryjanes with a round toe that went with everything- I'd love to own them again.

SuperBoppy · 16/10/2016 03:53

Alice in Wonderland anyone? Think these beauties are roughly £200.

OhFuckOff · 16/10/2016 07:40

Second hand they can sometimes sell for more than they originally cost. There are lots of Facebook groups for buying/selling, including folders where people post their ISO (in search of) shoes. I've got a few irregular choice shoes and bags, my favourites are my pale blue swifts and my I am your father glitter flats Grin
