I did have a look for a Facebook selling thread but couldn't find one so had to make a new thread.

Someone has once paid £100 for these shoes! WTAF?

WanderingTrolley1 · 15/10/2016 22:11

IC shoes are hideous.

HateSummer · 15/10/2016 22:12

Omg I've just looked at their website. They look like Cinderella's ugly step sister's choice of shoes 😱.

sparechange · 15/10/2016 22:12

Holy shit those are some ugly shoes Shock

ageingrunner · 15/10/2016 22:14

They look like they were made for a pantomime dame - I can just see them with some lovely garish stripy tights

Octopus37 · 15/10/2016 22:15

Love them, but I could't walk in them or afford them. That said, they offer food for thought in terms of buying something and selling them on.

ageingrunner · 15/10/2016 22:17

What would you wear them with?!

DameSquashalot · 15/10/2016 22:18

Their recent collection is quite OTT

They're irregular choice and not Facebook shite.

I have a few pairs. I Ike them with a plain outfit

SuperFlyHigh · 15/10/2016 22:22

Some irregular choice shoes are nice (saw someone who had some with cats on).

Others, like these, they're not my taste but I don't judge if anyone wears them.

Does remind me of Alice in Wonderland type shoes though and not in a good way.

SouthWestmom · 15/10/2016 22:22

Op fail

I agree with a pp, all my IC shoes are older styles. They are way too ridiculous now.

BowieFan · 15/10/2016 22:23

I've seen some shoes like that before. It was when DS1 was playing Widow Twankey in last year's school panto.

fussygalore118 · 15/10/2016 22:24

I have a few pairs of ic shoes...love them but appreciate they aren't everyones cup of tea... that's pretty much the going price tho
Much prefer them to bland cheap crappo next /supermarket black 'leather' boring shoes

VanellopeVonSchweetz99 · 15/10/2016 22:24

Oooh, IC!
I loved, loved many of their styles about 10 years ago (=in a different life), like Auser said with a plain outfit/suit for special work talks (creative industry) great talking point and not that uncomfy.
They are like collectors items these days, no?
(I still covet the union jack ones from time to time)

YuckYuckEwwww · 15/10/2016 22:25

IC feel like cheep shoes on, very uncomforable, they're just kitch novelty value, like inlfatable sofas - first time you see them you think they're kinda cool in an ironic way (twat! - I was an impulse buying twat!) but then once they've been around a few months they just all look samey and stupid

jasmine1979 · 15/10/2016 22:25

I wouldn't wear any of them as just not my style, but totally appreciate the fact that some people do suit them and can pull them off. I used to look at this blog sometimes as she wears these type of shoes all the time and dresses in a way that suits the shoes. I don't see why fashion can't be fun. Smile

and she has another blog as well

YuckYuckEwwww · 15/10/2016 22:26

pair em with a lindy bop if you wanna really show off your "individual style" LOL

SuperFlyHigh · 15/10/2016 22:31

IC shoes were nice 10 years ago as I used to work near their shop in Carnaby Street, I've not been near the shop in years so can't gauge if gone down or up...

But I have noticed a theme for adults to be more wacky, unicorn colour hair etc - which is great, all power to embracing that if you want to, but I think IC have capitalised on this vastly almost as if, the more wacky the better they will buy it and more so if we follow eg GOT theme, unicorn etc and have veered away from the stylish but wacky shoes they did. Nothing wrong with that but to some people with more safe shoe choices the current IC shoes look even more garish and pantomime dame like. Pity really.

cosmicglittergirl · 15/10/2016 22:31

I wore IC on my wedding day. Low heel natch

Dahlietta · 15/10/2016 22:36

This thread has introduced me to the Irregular Choice website. WTAF.
