Spooky - some kind of courgette-water. I quickly stir fried it as per directions so it wouldn't go all boiled courgette and 30 seconds after I put it on my plate it was swimming in liquid.

Re pumpkin loaf, it's hard to get a good rise and texture. Mine always come out like bricks.

Thanks Boundaries. I have half a tin of pumpkin left so going to give it another go with a different recipe. The stodgy loaf is ok with golden syrup and vanilla ice cream, but not what I was expecting.

We have an Ye Old Sweetie Shop near us too Sou. They also sell amazing cards and gift stuff. Also, the woman who owns the shop is a fabulous local who stands firm in the face of the Hipster infiltration and can chat the hind leg off a donkey!
