Not announcing my pregnancy on FB.

My dh and I have made a conscious decision to not announce my pregnancy on FB.

Am I in the minority to think that sharing my scan picture is a bit tacky? I just plan on telling family and friends as I see them. Might do a group message.

AIBU to do it this way?

I'm currently 9 days overdue (with the 1 boy from my user name 😬) and I did announce on facebook, I only have people on there that I'd consider friends and or family, i believe that everyone is happy for us, at lease 50% of the people on my friends list will and do see me in person regularly and will obviously see I'm pregnant and then will see I have a baby, it's not a big secret that should be kept quite, I am absolutely thrilled, delighted and so so excited to meet our first son and would quite happily yell it from the roof tops, my husband owns a busy takeaway in town and I swear down this pregnancy has created a massive custom boost as everyone seems to be excited for us, people are calling in the shop nearly every day to see there is any news and I believe since the due date we've had the highest takings this year.....baby will be evicted Tuesday if he doesn't come before 😁
