I'm not being unreasonable am I? This is wrong, yes?

Why would anyone put up a shower curtain as well as a glass screen?

I've got a glass screen and as I'm short it's perfectly adequate. Wouldn't the plastic curtain cling to you in all sorts of horrible ways? (Imagine myself having to pull the ghastly thing off, clinging to me like a wet, clammy cold swimsuit). It's all sorts of yuck.

GDarling · 16/09/2016 09:46

My friend had an over head shower, so the water hit their heads and bounced straight out over the silly screen, so yes I can understand why they have done this. I would never have an overhead shower, I like the ones that u can take off the wall and get to yr nether regions☺️

FurryLittleTwerp · 16/09/2016 09:48

Ugh yes blithering I hate it when they clag onto your legs - worse if the extractor fan is on I find. And they easily go mouldy - urgh

PinkSquash · 16/09/2016 09:50

It's not even a naice John Lewis shower curtain

ProfessorPreciseaBug · 16/09/2016 09:54

It reminds me of the shower in Psycho.....

Daisygarden · 16/09/2016 09:58

Yes. Shower screen too low so water will presumably manage to get over the top of it and onto the floor.

Putting a shower curtain up is fine... although why it's so close to the showers I don't know.

It would have been better to buy a bigger shower screen and replace that.

I am a BIG FAN of "sometimes you have to go backwards to go forwards" philosophy.

Have never met a man who shares that philosophy though! So rather than admitting shower screen too small, taking it down and putting bigger one up, let's add to the problem by putting in an inconvenient shower curtain....

Daisygarden · 16/09/2016 10:00

Putting up a shower curtain is fine as a temporary fix, I meant to say! You can get suction ones.

AuldYow · 16/09/2016 10:02

Love the tiles they take your eyes away from the shitty shower curtain monstrosity

Memoires · 16/09/2016 10:12

Take it down. If it's a springy one it'll be easy. He can then put it up when he showers messily and take it down when he's finished.

We have this. Our shower screen's seal broke and our handyman told us that a shower curtain was the only solution because it's very difficult to get the seals to stick for ever with the way our screen was desigend.
