He is killing me in Victoria, all cheekbones and smoulder. I know it isn't exactly historically accurate but my word, you do wish he and Vic would throw caution to the wind and at least kiss!

First saw him in Middlemarch in the 90s, and 20 years later there's still few actors who can smoulder and fill a pair of britches like he can, is there?

He's really sinister in the Man in the High Castle (what with being an evil SS person and everything). Very good at being sinister.

He's better as he ages. He was a bit too 'pretty boy' for me when younger, but is really quite stunning looking now.

Just looking at these photos actually make me go a bit funny.

I liked him in the film 'The Honest Courtesan' which I think had a different name for release outside the UK. Well worth a view.

He is my go to happy place....DH had to repeat what he was saying several times the other day because I was daydreaming about whether I preferred him to Cap'n Poldark or not, and it was a seriously hard decision to make

The Man in the High Castle is on Amazon Prime, I think a second series is coming out soon. We use Prime anyway for deliveries, so it's a bonus to get these series. The Hand of God is also excellent if you pay for Prime, Ray Donovan a little less so but still good.

Another interesting fact that I gleaned from the many hours I spend googling him - he dated Alice Eve for 2 years (the daughter of Trevor Eve and Sharon Murna-thingie, for those of us who are very old).

I've seen his first wife on various chat shows etc, she's a fashion journalist and still uses the name Yasmin Sewell.

He is my weird crush. Not my usual type but there's something about him that makes me want to rip his clothes off and do very naughty things!!
