To ask if ipods are popular?

I'm a complete ipod virgin, I've never possessed an mp3 player in it's own right iyswim of any kind.

As late as 2007 I was enquiring about cassettes in Currys!!
I've got a CD player in my car - but no CDs currently.

So, how many of you have iPods?

I have an iPod classic with a huge memory and I love it. In fact I lost my old one and DH bought me a new (second hand as they don't make them any more) one to replace it as I did not want to use my phone.

It has thousands of music tracks and dozens of audiobooks uploaded to it iTunes from CDs which have since been given away and would cost a fortune to re-buy digitally.

I've had my Ipod for nearly 9 years, still going strong and I wouldn't be without it now. My phone battery is crap as it is, couldn't be doing with the constant recharging.
