Just picked up toddler, screaming baby in tow when they said her first session went well but there was a poo incident with another toddler and poo got on her hat and cardi(?!)
I asked if she's touched it and what happened but screaming baby and toddler running out so dumped the offending items in bin and we've come home.
Called the manager for clarification on exactly what happened but is there a situation in which this isn't a big deal because it feels like its really bad. Dd said poo got on her shoes too and the girl did it on purpose but can't get any more info than that yet until manager calls back

I am not sure I would be too happy about what appears to a deliberate act of vandalism with poo regardless of their ages.

I would wait to hear from the manager before making any final decisions but in your place I would be looking for an alternative placements. I am not sure I would feel confident knowing toddlers are unsupervised to the point 1 can smear poo all over another child

Misc, actually it was only a week into the term but I refused to talk to the teacher for the rest of the year as I couldn't trust myself not to rip her apart. Dh had to do all the parent teacher stuff. I had had a bad vibe from her right from the transition meeting when she made it clear she was utterly uninterested in making any sn provision, so when dd came home with her hoody cut up I felt it best to step away for both our sakes... It was 6 years ago and I still want to rip her limb from limb.
