This morning I had an early flight from Stansted and the guy next to me waiting at the gate was eating a Burger King and chips. At sodding 7.30am.

OH, I once sat next to someone on a plane who chewed her toenails.
they were dirty. she hoicked them up into her mouth!

(I wish I didn't - I will never forget it. eventually the flight crew told her to stop. too late for my brain)

Then again when I used to work nights I would have a tin with a fellow night worker on the way home and we used to get some awful looks in the early am.

It was about 25 years ago. On an American Airlines flight.
I was in a row of 4, I think, behind the bulkhead.
She was on the other end.
She was neither young nor slim (not being mean, I am v fat myself!) and I was initially incredulous that she could physically manage it, then the UGH factor kicked in.
Some things just stay with you.

I'll take the Kettle Chips any day.

But yes, noisy 'chumming' of food isn't the most pleasant thing but I guess live and let live.
