Delivery of same item again for free by accident

Hi everyone

I ordered a swing for my DD. It came, it's up but I've just had an email stating its going to be delivered again. Is it wrong to take delivery again and give it to next door for free for their grandchildren? And say nothing to the company I bought it from?

Keep it

Tell the delivery driver you refuse the delivery because you didn't order it.

FIL did this and then it transpired he'd refused the wrong item (was something else he had been waiting on) and he had to pay another load of delivery charges for his item as company refused to sent it out free of charge again. And then he took delivery of said first wrong item! Which he kept as that company refused to send someone to collect it and wanted fil to go down to the Post office with it.

Wibble. That's funny! Shock Your poor DFIL. I guess it's good advice for the OP to check the order number carefully before accepting or refusing the order.

If keep it for sure. Maybe even sell it.
