To ask what is a good chapter book to read to a four year old?

We've done Charlie and the chocolate factory and the magic faraway tree - (she loved both) -what else would be good to try?

Ibelieveinpink I started with DD When she was just 4. But tbh I couldve started earlier. I think the Faraway Tree is a good place to start. Themes aren't complicated and the story of folk that live in a tree, including Moon Face, Saucepan Man and Silky the Fairy is perfect for sparking imagination. Plus chapters are relatively short.
