To not want Wimbledon to replace my favourite television show?

Apologies, first world problem here. So basically Wimbledon is replacing my favourite television show (which I REALLY want to see) DD loves it too and she's upset that it isn't on.

It's 2 weeks a year!! YABU!

MrHannahSnell · 01/07/2016 20:48

"Its only two weeks!" Yes, and they are the longest two weeks out of the 52.

SouperSal · 01/07/2016 20:52

As it is the only sport that seems to be covered on tv with equal time for the women and men's game, even less reason to complain.

You'd think so, but sadly not.

LadyIncuntliaButtock · 01/07/2016 20:55

I fucking hate Pointless.

Armstrong is just about tolerable, but Richard DICK Osman is absolutely repellent. I don't know if it's his smugness, his rubber like face, or the carefully and purposefully contrived coiffure, but he induces a really stabby rage.

Arkwright · 01/07/2016 20:59

They should put all the sport on a dedicated channel and leave the normal channels alone.

EastMidsMummy · 01/07/2016 21:00

Pointless? Pointless is on EVERY FUCKING DAY ON AT LEAST TWO CHANNELS. YABU if it's Pointless.

WankersHacksandThieves · 01/07/2016 21:05

It may be Eastmids but I only watch tv for about half an hour a day - that's when Pointless is on - it's become my tea time habit.

LucyFotheringay · 01/07/2016 21:13

YANBU I've not noticed on TV yet, but my Pinterest is full of tennis balls ConfusedAngry just fuck off!

EastMidsMummy · 01/07/2016 22:40

Record it. IPlayer it. You can watch the 15 minutes daily that you miss.

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 01/07/2016 22:48

Wimbledon is once a year for two weeks. YABU

Is it really only two weeks. It feels more like six. I really can't be arse with all the sport at the moment.

WankersHacksandThieves · 01/07/2016 22:52

East mids, I'm not that bothered to be honest, as I say I've seen most of them now anyway. I just plonk down for half an hour and I see whatever is on, it's just a wee habit that it's usually Pointless and as I don't follow the tennis, it's just random people hitting a ball. i believe there are other channels available but that would be too much effort :o

I'm on holiday next week so will be a different routine anyway - I'll cope :)

WankersHacksandThieves · 01/07/2016 22:53

I like the Olympics so will be happy when that starts but guess it will pee off others, just as well we are all different.

ilovesooty · 01/07/2016 23:13

I like sport on TV. The more the better. Too much of it is confined to pay per view channels IMHO.
