Now UKIP is defunct as we are (sadly) en route to independence AIBU to fear 'people's champion' Farage will defect to the conservatives and head for leadership?!

Well it may not be Eton but being the son of a stockbroker, attending Dulwich College (a posh public school) and working as a city trader means that his background is elite and establishment.

But not being an MP is a problem so probably Boris, Gove or possibly May or (heaven help us) IDS are stronger conservative candidates.

I guess Farage is facing unemployment himself now as his cushy job on expenses as an EU MEP will end when Brexit occurs - although he always said that his main aim was to destry the Tories - so time will tell if he manages this

RoseDeGambrinus you are so right. To start off with on Have I Got News For You Boris came across as a lovable buffoon. Actually he is a very clever man with a very good pr team. He is a power hungry manipulative wanker with no morals. He doesn't actually believe the shit he comes out with. Anything to be PM. And to think we took the piss out of the Americans for Trump.
