I'm 41, he's 67(!?!), but i'm obsessed, want to write florid fanmail and am watching you tube clips of him all the time. Talk about undignified Blush .

I once had a crush on Des O'Connor after having a rather erotic dream about him.

Jesus Christ! Some of us are eating breakfast here!

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 23/06/2016 09:42

Admit it Liz Grin

Mrsraypurchase · 23/06/2016 10:27

Come on Auld - you've just referenced Jim Kerr! Of course you are Liz Jones!

auldspinster · 23/06/2016 11:14

As fanjo can testify I don't dye my hair, draw my eyebrows on with a sharpie and write nutty colunms in the Daily Heil.

auldspinster I was 11 when I saw "Underpass" on Top of the Pops and even at that tender age thought Phwoar! Those cheekbones!
My mum kinda spoiled it for me by shouting "Underpants!" at the (in)appropriate moment every time we saw it or heard it on the radio. Angry

He's such a true artist, with such a creative urge, the way he has continued to make and experiment with music over the past few decades.

SirVixofVixHall · 23/06/2016 11:25

Ahh. John Foxx. Perfectly reasonable crush. Interesting, clever, beautiful. Don't think old Sylvian is miserable. He's v happily married with children no?

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 23/06/2016 11:28

She does. I am friends with Liz Jones..err Grin

BitOutOfPractice · 23/06/2016 11:29

I have been in love (not just a mere crush) with Bryan Ferry for 35 years. I even had a party for his 70th.

I had a bit of a Terry Hall crush in the 80s.

He has not aged well though

SirVixofVixHall · 23/06/2016 11:42

Terry Hall- I met him through work.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 23/06/2016 11:49

Wow! Smile

SirVixofVixHall · 23/06/2016 11:49

He was nice.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 23/06/2016 11:50

Phew!

auldspinster · 23/06/2016 12:10

I do find it difficult not to shout underpants when listening to underpass. Yes, gyno it was remiss of me not to post pix.

I though David Sylvian had got divorced?

My mum and I have been to see Roxy Music and solo Bryan Ferry - she has a bit of a crush on him but as she's only 2 years younger (and 18 months older than John Foxx - eek!), she's at least 30 years too old for him!

OP posts:
BitOutOfPractice · 23/06/2016 12:40

I have seen him (with and without Roxy) about 20 times - first time on the Avalon tour in 1981 (or 2?). Last time about 6 weeks ago. He's still got it!

auldspinster · 23/06/2016 15:40

Weirdly Bryan Ferry and John Foxx have the same birthday.
