To bloody love Liz Hurley

She looks amazing for 51. She has two big houses, a boy at a mega posh school and is hanging out with billionaires. Oh, and she has a successful business and her career has had a renaissance with The Royals.

All this from a girl who went to a bog standard comp, had a few strategic shags and is an expert in the art of self promotion. And who can't act.

I want to be like her. Is that so very bad?

I love seeing the outrageous messages that are bound to be deleted.

Nothing worse than arriving to see a 'message has been deleted for breaking our guidelines' on a celeb thread. Tis most vexing.

Chippednailvarnishing · 19/06/2016 23:21

You might want to look up the definition of slander Liz OP...

ChardonnayKnickertonSmythe · 19/06/2016 23:32

She does look good though.

IlovesLiz · 19/06/2016 23:41

Libel then.

BlueFolly · 19/06/2016 23:56

Weird Hyacinth Bucket attitude from Yeah there Confused

SpaceUnicorn · 19/06/2016 23:59

Retract that right now! You'll be sued for slander

Yes. That will definitely happen.

PrettyDumb · 20/06/2016 00:01

She has a very pretty face.

2nds · 20/06/2016 00:08

Aw OP why don't you tweet her?

There's nothing wrong with lovin' Liz Hurley.

SomeDaysIDontGiveAMonkeys · 20/06/2016 00:16

I like her because she doesn't take herself too seriously, she loves animals and apparently is incredibly fun to work for. Our Liz. Bit of a treasure in my opinion.

stareatthetvscreen · 20/06/2016 00:31

she's a joan collins for our generation :)

IPityThePontipines · 20/06/2016 00:42

she's a joan collins for our generation Smile

I think she'd be very pleased to read that.

I don't mind her, but the likes of Yeah's snotty comment are pushing me firmly towards Team Elizabeth.

stealtheatingtunnocks · 20/06/2016 01:02

Didn't she chase Bing through the courts to prove the kid was his and then say "feck off, didn't want your cash anyway, you piece of shit"?

Probably not an exact quote - but, my understanding is that she was given money by the court and she refused it.

I quite liked that.

BillSykesDog · 20/06/2016 12:32

She did stealth, the money's going into a trust he'll get as an adult instead.

He behaved fucking awfully to her. It's okay to have doubts, but he could have sorted it all privately without saying the horrible things he did about her.

MitzyLeFrouf · 20/06/2016 12:45

The son is the spitting image of Bing.

TheSpottedZebra · 20/06/2016 12:57

I LOVED the Shane Warne years, when they used to flirt on twitter via her parrot.
And he got more and more 'toxed and oranged.

They seemed fun.

IlovesLiz · 20/06/2016 20:55

I didn't know she had a parrot. You don"t see her on many talk shows. Doesn't she like Graham Norton or Jonathan Ross?

ElspethFlashman · 20/06/2016 21:06

I remember her saying that on 9/11 she watched the Twin Towers fall, found out she was pregnant, and got dumped. All the same day.

Inkanta · 21/06/2016 00:25

That Bing sounded like a nightmare kind of guy. How awful for her - that can't have been easy. Or maybe she is quite thick skinned and coped better than most would have done.

harshbuttrue1980 · 21/06/2016 07:04

I dont like her one bit. When she was married, there was that scandal where she and her husband treated her servant like a slave. It got settled out of court as rich people often do. Horrible woman.

IlovesLiz · 21/06/2016 09:17

Well.today I've dressed like Liz Hurley. I've put my make up on like Liz Hurley and I'm wearing my shades indoors like Liz Hurley. But I may be paranoid or something because I think the people in Tescos are laughing at me.

OP posts:
RonniePickering · 21/06/2016 09:30

They're not laughing, they're just totes amazed Liz is in their midst.

Or something. I like her OP, not love though.

Even if she 'is a single mum Hmm

IlovesLiz · 21/06/2016 09:46

Ah, Ronnie, don't get me wrong - i've been a single mum. It's bloody hard which makes me admire her all the more, especially as she seems to have A SOCIAL LIFE!!!!!

Ps, are you from the same city as Ronnie? I used to live there!

OP posts:
RonniePickering · 21/06/2016 09:50

Unfortunately not, OP, I'm from Manchester.

The real Ronnie wouldn't know what hit him if he got fresh with me Grin

IlovesLiz · 21/06/2016 10:04

Well, if you can't live in Hull, live in Manchester!!

OP posts:
WhisperingLoudly · 21/06/2016 10:11

Quite like her to.

Especially her honesty re her weight, has been quoted as saying something along lines of she is permanently hungry. So much more refreshing than the constant stream of models who claim to eat Big Mac and fries and not put on an ounce
