To ask how you told your partner you were pg?

Just interested in hearing your stories! Might be pg myself and feeling all sentimental!

He told me! I couldn't see a line, told him it was negative. He took the test from me and pointed out a squinter! 20 weeks in there's less doubt. I refused to believe him at first though.

I took the test at the shopping centre loo. When the result appeared, I decided to tell my DP ASAP.
He was at work, so I offered to bring him some lunch. Bought some McDonalds and stuck the test in there. So when he opened the bag, he saw it. Didn't believe it at the beginning, but then got all teary and ran back inside to ask himself off, as he was too excited to work.
Apparently he said his co-worker about it and he got all teary too.

We had been trying for a while and had unfortunately suffered a miscarriage.

We booked a holiday with the intention of having a relaxed, boozy week and seeking medical help with regards to our fertility when we got back.

After doing a test one morning a few weeks before our holiday I woke DP up pretending to be very upset that I'd ruined our holiday. When he asked why I told him

DH - I think you are pregnant
Me - don't be daft, in totally not
DH - here pee on this stuck I purchased as I'm pretty sure you are pregnant
Me - OK but just to shut you up as I am absolutely not.
DH - TOLD YOU!!!!!

Both times! I have no idea how he knew, he just did!

Xmas day 2015.
I'm hungover, but throwing up harder then I have ever before.
DP tells me to take the test (I had an inkling but wanted to wait until after Xmas to find out).
I take test, DD1 due in August!

Dp told me. I took a test and refused to look at another negative so made forced him to go in the bathroom and check it so he could throw it away if necessary. He came back holding it in utter shock. I'm due next week and I love thinking about it.

Came downstairs 1st time (v v unexpected, unplanned pg) with the test, crying through shock. He was so excited, it was me who was apprehensive.

Second time I said "oh, I think I was due on last week", he said "you're definitely pregnant I can just tell". A test later proved him right!

He's now pestering for number 3, but number 2 is only 6 months so that's a no! Will have to think of something epic to tell him about 3 when it happens. We've been quite boring so far!

I shouted at him and he came running and we both had an "oh fuck what have we done" moment.

We were going to TTC and I came off the pill but my mum died. We decided to wait a bit and were supposed to be using condoms but never really got round to doing more than buying the box. DH realised I had missed a period and dashed to Sainsbury's for a test. We sat on the side of the bath together and watched the line appear. We were shaking! DS is 17 months old.

Oh god I genuinely can't remember and my dc are only 6 and 8. Did both my tests at work in a hospital as never at home (70 + hour weeks as a junior doctor) and needed to be careful around chemo/other hazards. Fairly sure my boss knew before DH. That's really fucking sad isn't it?

First time, ran out the front door as he was off out for a bike ride, second time threw it on the table and said 'they are going to have the same f-ing birthday'!

I just yelled it down the stairs from the toilet when the line appeared.
