Tbh I am just glad she is no longer working with children

Standing by her awful husband shows she cannot keep children safe let alone her won daughter and in a school were issues of cp may come up its important the head is shit hot on it not sympathetic to the abuser who may even be a teacher

she could have stayed married but not lived with him or had any contact plenty of older generation who won't divorce but have separated

Acausual that is not pointless speculation the ruling says that other measures should have been considered.

Pointless speculation piled on pointless speculation

Not really pointless just because you ignored the point being made.

acasualobserver · 17/05/2016 21:34

the ruling says that other measures should have been considered.

What would have happened, exactly, if other measures had been considered?

Brainnotbrawn · 17/05/2016 22:15

Acasual read the ruling yourself.

acasualobserver · 17/05/2016 22:37

If you don't want to answer the question that's fine.

This woman was unfairly dismissed. Had her employers acted differently, and had she reacted in a certain way to actions that they did not, in fact, take then she might not have been unfairly dismissed. It's up to you if you want to find some vindication for your argument in that.

Brainnotbrawn · 17/05/2016 23:40

Acasual that about sums it up. The employers has other remedies available to consider, this as you have now read has been acknowledged in the judgement. This is not exactly a full vindication of the teachers position.

acasualobserver · 18/05/2016 08:28

Brain your reply - naff little strikethrough and all - is designed to indicate that I have changed my position.

I haven't.

Still, I'm glad we can agree on my summary of the judgement.

Well I'll try to answer it in the mind that it is only an example (Made all the more hilarious by the fact Dp is actually ginger).
Maybe, but thats because being ginger is something you can see if you know what I mean? If DP changed his hair color to say black it would look fucking awful its pretty obvious, so I'd know instantly if he changed back to ginger. But I wouldn't know if he was engaging in pedophilia.
