I mean sure, it looks a little bare, but I could do so much with it

Pandas don't bother to procreate to further their own species so they are certainly to lazy to wank.

On the plus side at least we've finally found that Panda evolutionary cul de sac Chris Packham was on about.

kissedbyamoonbeam · 10/05/2016 23:56

Why are you all assuming it's only one panda? Surely at that price, it's one per room? Dealbreaker for me if it's just one per house.

ouryve · 11/05/2016 00:14

This isn't far form my parents.

Not sure what their Jackuahua would make of the panda, mind :o

AnotherPrickInTheWall · 11/05/2016 00:24

Is this a piss take?

lordStrange · 11/05/2016 00:26

The panda is a terrible idea.

silverpenny · 11/05/2016 00:28

Anyone is this area-ish? Looks massively overpriced? Or maybe property prices really are out of control

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 11/05/2016 00:33

I linked to it yesterday as well and it's not mine either.
www.mumsnet.com/Talk/property/2632961-Those-Property-Ads-That-You-Really-Notice

The one I linked to first on that thread has an enormous amount of character too, not just an added character. Grin

StickTheDMWhereTheSunDontShine · 11/05/2016 00:38

Most of the East Riding is very cheap, silverpenny, but there are some very expensive pockets around Beverley. That house would cost that much in parts of my cheap part of the country. (In others, you'd get a crumbling stately home for that sort of money)

rachelgrier · 11/05/2016 01:01

Who's that good looking panda in every picture? He looks lovely lol. The house looks great. Are you thinking of buying?

SecretWitch · 11/05/2016 01:27

The Panda appears to have modesty ishoos..why else would he be holding a starfish over his willy in the tub?

KoalaDownUnder · 11/05/2016 01:34

That house is horrible. Bland, with nasty fixtures that will date in about 5 years.

And the panda would probably come back and assault you in your sleep.

daisychain01 · 11/05/2016 04:47

Shocked the particulars don't mention of the panda is a fixture of the house.
Buy it and sue their arses off if it's panda-less

just check the fixtures list and make sure there isnt a tick next to "panda"

They're lazy bastards, pandas, can't even be arsed to mate ffs probably wouldn't lift a finger round the house. Get rid, I'd say.

Just5minswithDacre · 11/05/2016 05:10

Why is everyone assuming it's just ONE panda?

mathanxiety · 11/05/2016 05:15

Book wallpaper in a house with no books is weird

Oh but there are books!
They have been shoved under the little girl's bed in the room with the panda doll pram.

HammerToFall · 11/05/2016 06:52

I know the people that are selling this house. It's a lovely house in a really nice area.

SlimCheesy · 11/05/2016 07:09

Are they pandas?

I find it a really amusing gimmick. :)

pearlylum · 11/05/2016 07:25

I hate the panda. A childish gimmick. Very distracting in the photographs/Would put me off the house.

Donatellalymanmoss · 11/05/2016 07:36

Well it made me smile. The snobby new build comments filling this thread did not.

BigGreenOlives · 11/05/2016 07:45

I had a look at some of the agents other properties, no pandas in those, so the area isn't over run with them.

acasualobserver · 11/05/2016 07:46

I felt sorry for the panda, rattling round that big house, sleeping on every bed for something to do and then a eating a solitary dinner of a single orange. Particularly poignant was his attempt to maintain standards by using a knife and fork.

HoneyDragon · 11/05/2016 09:24

I have a big soulless new build and I love it.

TheCrumpettyTree · 11/05/2016 09:56

At least it's a new build with a decent sized garden unlike most.

pigsDOfly · 11/05/2016 10:46

It's not the fact that it's a 'souless new build' that makes me not like it, I have a new build that I love, it's the fact that it's an unattractive badly laid out new build that would put me off.

whatsthatcomingoverthehill · 11/05/2016 10:54

The owner is a director of the estate agency. I guess if you're going to try out marketing gimmicks doing so with your own house isn't so bad.

SecretWitch · 11/05/2016 10:58

Panda's are the new clowns for me.
