I mean sure, it looks a little bare, but I could do so much with it

There are two separate threads about this?

Thisismyfirsttime · 10/05/2016 20:53

The panda's washing his balls in the shower picture! I like that house, but if I bought it I'd want the panda too. A little live in housekeeper. I suspect he'd be a nightmare though, on the beds and the treadmill all the time.

cakedup · 10/05/2016 20:58

I can't wait to show this to my sister, she hates Pandas.

Anyway, where is all the junk? Some of the rooms are so bare, do some people actually live this way? Where's all the piles of stuff? Does the little girl in the house really only own a pram and a few toys pushed neatly under the bed? Or do people clear all that stuff out of the way for the photos?

Grilledaubergines · 10/05/2016 21:05

Only just realised its a person inside - thought it was a stuffed toy!

Definitely the idea of someone who says "I'm mad, me"

Hero1callylost · 10/05/2016 21:09

I half expected to see the Panda's profile on the estate agent's about us page!

Elllicam · 10/05/2016 21:15

I love the panda Grin

Quick way to make your soul-less executive mansionette appeal to those looking to offer "discreet" fetish services. Each to their own.

err yes!

2 hours later I've just got the 'bamboozled' pun. My god I'm thick sometimes.

The panda is creepy and detracts from the pictures. I was so distracted (and not in a good way) by the panda that I can't even remember what the house looked like.

Don't like the house or the panda- not one little bit.

JenniferYellowHat1980 · 10/05/2016 22:11

I didn't notice the panda for at least eight photos Blush In face I went through twice, and out and back into the link to check he hadn't been there all along.

LittleHouseOnTheShelf · 10/05/2016 22:15

I don't know why you all don't get the significance of the panda, it seems to be fairly black and white to me, no confusion at all. Still, it's not a giant problem.

troubleinstore · 10/05/2016 22:15

Bland, boxy house. The only good thing is that the panda distracts you from how bland the house is... sorry

BitOutOfPractice · 10/05/2016 22:23

I'll go for this house instead

EmmaWoodlouse · 10/05/2016 23:10

I love the hall - I've always wanted to live in a house with a big hall. Some of ours have been 1 metre square! Other than that, if it wasn't marketed in this slightly unusual way, I don't think it would stand out at all.

BillSykesDog · 10/05/2016 23:18

I quite like houses like that. I like the idea it's a blank slate to put your own stamp on, rather than depending on something someone else did 100 years ago.

The panda thing is dull though. Very 'I'm mad me'.

Roonerspism · 10/05/2016 23:31

I'm amazed at those turning their nose up at this house. It's huge and spacious and bright and nicely presented.

Is everyone on MN minted or wot?

ExpandingRoundTheMiddle · 10/05/2016 23:43

No. Just no. Any of it. On so many levels.

smokeybandit · 10/05/2016 23:46

I want the panda. Who does that? I wonder if it was the estate agent's idea or the people selling. It's not an offensive house and definitely more of it than you'd get for that price in my neck of the woods. I wouldn't say no if I was offered it!

silverpenny · 10/05/2016 23:49

why show the panda using the gym stuff? presumably it doesn't come with the house?
