To give out details about a friends private life?

Don't want to give out too much details as it's about a friend but long story short, she was contacted about 6 months ago by a company about giving some interviews and her life after being attacked and was offered private cousin lingerie in return. She allowed them to follow her round with a camera for a few days and another a few months later. She signed a contract so they had the rights to the video and they published it on TV last week. However they majorly edited what she said and I've being trying to explain what she said and stick up for her as there has been a lot of horrible things said.

Only now I'm worried I have overstepped the mark. But I've seen her come so far from it all and I don't want her to start declining again from someone saying these things to her face.

Oh and she still hasn't received the counselling.

So I thought I'd come back and update for anyone that's intrested. I've spoke to Eleanor and got her permission first. Basically they got what they wanted. Someone reckonised them and told her fiance about a job going so he did an interview and did good. He's doing an induction after half term and hopefully does well to keep him on. :)

That's really nice to hear, I'm really happy for them. Hope it works out for him and something good comes out of the whole thing.

Despite the daily mail's best efforts she comes across as really sweet. Good for them. Her ring is lovely and I bet her dress will be too.

Although don't know how anyone found the story from the op.

Take her out to her group. Remind her these media storms blow over very quickly. And she won't remember it when she sees him on their wedding day.
