Phoebe and David would have been cool with me too, same for Monica and Richard - although the children issue would have bothered me. Chandler and Cathy would have been alright too.

Rachel and Ross? Just. No. She totally should have gone for that job.

Joey needed a few more years to grow up a bit.

I'm always heartened to see a Ross bashing thread. Years ago when I first moaned about him nobody agreed.

I think that Joey was starting to grow up but again, they dumbed him back down again in readiness for his spin off. Had it not been for that awful spin off I am sure that the series would have ended very differently.

Couldn't agree more Bogey. During Rachel's pregnancy, they really worked on Joey's maturity. I'm sure they had other plans.

I hated the way they dumbed Rachel down to fit with Joey.

Yes cos Rachel was portrayed as a bit stupid and shallow but she had a lot of street smarts

Yeah I lost all interest in Ross and Rachel getting together when she had the baby and they didn't get together at that point. I thought Joey and Mark worked, and it was lame when R&R finally got together.

originally Monica and joey was meant to be together, but they saw the chemistry between Ross and Rachel so that's why they ended up together.

Mark was as bad as Ross. He swooped the moment he thought he was in with a chance with Rachel which was the very night they went on a break. Ross was right to be wary of Mark. Still think Ross was in the wrong though. As Chandler said "Bullets have left guns slower!"

YANBU I liked Rachel and Joey. I liked how it developed from them becoming really good friends first. Then the writers made it crap on purpose.

As much as Phoebe and David were alike, as in they were kooky/different together, I think Phoebe and Mike made way more sense and were perfect for each other.
Ross and Rachel were meant to be together. He's her lobster. Why they didn't just get back together in the middle where they had a baby was stupid though, as they should have been together then as well.
Rachel and Joey had no chemistry whatsoever.
I always think Phoebe and Joey should have had got together at one point over the series though as well, as there was a definite spark between them!

I liked Joey with the Susan Sarandon character when she played the slap-happy actress, Jessica. I thought that would have been a cute end of series reunion.
My favourite Friends couple has to be Jack and Judy Geller, closely followed by Frank Junior and Alice.

No no no to Joey and Phoebe. She thought a lot of herself and would flirt with him in that "I could have you if I wanted, but I dont want to" kind of way that some, especially young, women do. She used him to make herself feel better thinking that he was lusting after her, but I dont think he did. He was genuinely in love with Rachel but Phoebe was firmly in the Friend(s) zone .... boom boom!

I saw Paul Rudd in person at the Captain America premiere last week. He seems just as jolly in RL and currently is sporting a big beard. I nearly fainted when he came out. I love him
