WIBU to eat a whole baked Camembert to myself?

PlasticRoses · 04/05/2016 18:21

Been dieting for two weeks and lost 7lb, been very well behaved excluding the wineHmm

I've got a Camembert in the fridge which my mum gave me last week, brown rolls in the freezer and chilli jam in the cupboard...

WIBU to shove the Camembert and bread into the oven and eat myself into a cheese coma?

Please say no

Camembert is like curry. There cannot be too much of it or too often.

Of course Brie is even better . . .

GET STUCK IN!!

MummyBex1985 · 04/05/2016 21:44

I love a whole Camembert to myself.

Stick some chopped garlic in, bake, drizzle in balsamic glaze and dip fresh crusty bread in it.

Dammit, now I want Camembert Sad

PaulAnkaTheDog · 04/05/2016 21:48

The camembert hedgehog is the best cheese thing I've made. No joke.

stopfuckingshoutingatme · 04/05/2016 21:54

You are clearly
Going to have it anyway - love that Camembert box idea though 😄

stopfuckingshoutingatme · 04/05/2016 21:54

Omg my emoji posted 🔫🔫🍕👴🏻👵🏻

janethegirl2 · 04/05/2016 22:02

That wouldn't feed 4 in this house

TheTittifersHaveSungTheirSong · 04/05/2016 22:04

That looked amazing-hope you enjoyed it!!
I shall be adding Camembert to my shopping list!!

Oysterbabe · 04/05/2016 22:05

Bought a Camembert today.

PestilentialCat · 04/05/2016 22:08

That looked delicious!

My teenager eats a whole one as a starter in the local restaurant Shock

PlasticRoses · 05/05/2016 15:44

Pearylum only two pieces of the bread?! That'd be about half a small roll!

Yes- I don't eat much bread, neither do my family.
My youngest is 16, there are 5 of us in the house and we can't eat a loaf of bread.

I can buy a sliced loaf or a baguette,a few slices are eaten and after a throw days I throw it out.
We get through a loaf of bread a week between 5 of us.

Moistly · 05/05/2016 16:27

Make the following week a healthy balanced one and you'll still be firmly well on track - got to indulge sometimes!

iklboo · 05/05/2016 17:53

I'm going to a wine tasting on Saturday. There's going to be 'finger food' but I think I should get myself a Camembert & crusty bread in. You know, just in case I'm peckish afterwards.......sadly DH doesn't like it, so I'd have to throw myself on the sword and eat it all. Wink

blueskyinmarch · 05/05/2016 18:46

This baked camembert thing - i keep reading about it and my stomach turns every time. Bleurgh.

pearlylum · 05/05/2016 18:50

I can salivate at the thought of one. Especially eaten with a good chutney, or even grapes. Must be cooked until it is as hot as lava though. No wobble left. The fungal crust is especially tasty.

PlasticRoses · 05/05/2016 19:57

pearlylum I'm not sure why you're humble bragging about your family's bread intake.
I have to keep mine in the freezer because otherwise it goes off. Do I win?

Ooooooh I think pearlylum has it a raw nerve.

TJH1 · 05/05/2016 20:37

Omg a whole one with bread is like a starter for me Blush

BabyGanoush · 05/05/2016 22:36

Feed a family of 4?! 😱

Maybe a tiny tiny amily? Like....a family consisting of 1 person?

SouthWestmom · 05/05/2016 22:53

All that bread? That was way too much for one person - would have fed four of us easily.

Runningupthathill82 · 06/05/2016 06:41

I thought exactly the same noeuf - that's several bread rolls on that plate, right? Surely one would be a normal portion?!
Ah well,tis done now!
