To ask which are worse, toddlers or teenagers?

I've no experience of teenagers, just a 1 and a 3 year old.

My 3 year old was a v v difficult toddler and at 3 is still hard going.

I'd just like to know if people feel there is a connection between a difficult toddler and a difficult teenager?!

Which would you say is worse?

Thanks

My 4 were not bad toddlers but teenagers are far more interesting. You can sleep too. Generally!

Teenagers are easier - in this house anyway.

DS (3yrs) is a tiny hurricane. He doesn't just test boundaries he stomps on them. Any requests preceded by 'don't' are 90% sure to be ignored while he cackles manically.

DD (16 yrs) quite often appears home with small chocolate based gifts for me. I wish I saw more of her though!

Toddlers (usually) go to bed eventually. Teens are in your face till nearly midnight!

Toddlers are more willing to help around the house. Teenagers not so much.

Not had teens yet. My dcs as toddlers were lovely and fairly easy. The tantrums were funny rather than awful and little kids are so cuddly. I guess that means the teen years will be challenging. Grin

I love my teens but they can be moody and very annoying. As toddlers, they (and my niece and nephew strangely enough) were like Stepford children, never tantrumming in public, rarely badly behaved at home. Nothing to do with upbringing, just born that way. In retrospect quite strange.

The toddler years were easier, but they are fab company now.
