I was in a shopping centre today looking through a shop window when a toddler ran past me and tripped over my foot. I felt awful (even though I didn't move or trip her on purpose) and instantly apologised to the child. The child was screaming (really didn't fall that hard but Obv upset her) I said to mum I was so sorry and asked if she was ok? Mum picked up the child, turned her back to me and whispered 'stupid bi*ch' I said (loudly) 'i said I was sorry I didn't do it on purpose!' She continued to ignore me as she walked off.

10 mins later in another shop I saw the mother with her toddler again. Her friend looked at me and said people like her make me sick! I just walked off gob smacked.

Aibu to think she was out of order? She plainly saw what happened and that it was an accident. DP said not to get so worked up but I can't help feeling a bit upset and angry lol

One day about two years ago I was walking with DD in her pram. The footpath was quite narrow and there was an obstruction on the path - a few poles - and a lady cycling towards us. I hope I've set the scene accurately.

As the biking woman approached I moved the pram in behind the poles to give her more space and stood waiting as she passed. Now, the cycling female didn't mention any thanks but as she passed she pointed out "You are going the wrong way."

Wtf? Confused I actually turned around and watched her sail off into the distance thinking 'did that really just happen?' Are there one-way footpaths now? Or did she think I was going to the library and was trying to warn me that I was going in the wrong direction?

I just want to remind you that she was cycling on the one way footpath.

I was walking across a zebra crossing once, when the black cab waiting just started to drive towards me. Obviously I was quite alarmed so said quite loudly (though not aggressively) "It's a zebra crossing!"

He then proceeded to wind down the window and follow me down the street absolutely hurling abuse at me, in broad daylight in front of a large group of primary school kids.

Quite satisfying really that he was going so slowly that I managed to get his number plate and report him to TFL
