To ask why coffee revels exist? No one likes them

And the number you get in a packet is totally disproportionate to the nice tasty revels.

The same goes for the raisins, horrible little dried up pieces of should'vebeenmadeintowine, that should never ever have replaced the peanuts - but at least you can spot those from the shape and avoid them.

After a rage inducing packet that was 60% coffee AIBU to want to fill a spaceship with all the coffee revels in the world and fire it somewhere into the atmosphere?

Conversely, I like fresh strawberries but cannot stand strawberry flavoured anything. Am I odd or do others have the same issues?

I'm the same with banana. Love the fruit, hate anything banana flavoured. Too synthetic and saccharin.

I prefer fresh strawberries to strawberry flavoured things, but would eat a strawberry cream if all the other good ones had gone, but would always leave anything banana (or coffee) flavoured.

I'm like that with cherries. Love fresh cherries but anything cherry flavoured is generally disgusting.

Don't like coffee, but love coffee flavoured things.

I like the coffee ones but would prefer coconut and also peanuts instead of raisins. The original revels sound much more exciting than the current version.
Maltesers can go extinct for all I care.

They took them out for a while and there was a campaign to bring them back (successfully, thank GOD)

I hate raisin. Blurgh.

What?! The coffee (and orange) ones are the only reason I buy Revels, I would prefer to be able to buy just those ones and not have to dilute them with all the cheapo filler raisin ones and renegade Malteasers and Minstrels.

In related news, why are the purple Quality Street and the green triangle the ones that are always sold separately/in giant form etc when the strawberry one is clearly the best?

I had actually forgotton that there was a sort of sweet called a Revel and thought you were talking about some sort of party. I remember we used to have Brownie Revels where all the Brownie packs in the District got together for the day to party and do Brownie Guide things. I was envisaging some get together where everyone gets stoked up on caffeine ... I think I would be up for that.

I like them all.
Can't get them where i live, so whenever back in the uk i get a big bag of revels and scoff the lot
(and a toffee crisp (that's for another thread...))

I love the orange AND the coffee ones but don't much like any of the others. I have to buy Revel when my DC are about and enter into negotiations with them.

The orange ones are vile. The toffee and coffee ones are almost as bad. I think that is why I don't buy revels or quality street for the same reason

You can buy a bag of just cadbury's roses strawberry cremes, if you are that kind of deviant..

YABVVU! Coffee is the best one! Followed by raisin, Malteser, non coated minstrel, toffee. Hate hate hate icky wee oranges. Also hate regular minstrels. Wish they had more coffee chocolates.

I love them too! It's tge peanut ones that are a waste of chocolate. And if there are coconut ones-bleeeeurgh.
