To ask why coffee revels exist? No one likes them

And the number you get in a packet is totally disproportionate to the nice tasty revels.

The same goes for the raisins, horrible little dried up pieces of should'vebeenmadeintowine, that should never ever have replaced the peanuts - but at least you can spot those from the shape and avoid them.

After a rage inducing packet that was 60% coffee AIBU to want to fill a spaceship with all the coffee revels in the world and fire it somewhere into the atmosphere?

Peanut (rip)

Coffee (bitten in half and handed to dh, one of his great merits is eating the coffee creams out of boxes of chocolates first so that I can then choose randomly without coffee cream roulette).

I don't mind raisin Revels but YAsoooooNBU that coffee ones are the very droppings of Satan.

The true hierarchy is/was:

Orange
Flat disc
Peanut (RIP Sad - I know why it had to go but I still mourn it)
Coconut (am I the only one who liked these?)
Raisin
Toffee
Malteser (too teeth-scrapy)

Ear wax

Boiled rats ears

Coffee

I love the coffee ones and the orange but totally agree with pretty much everyone else about the vile raisin ones though!

I like the coffee ones. The orange ones have something wrong with them – they kind of taste cold like minty things do – but I kind of like and hate them at the same time.

Toffee – love them, and they last for ages too
Coffee
Flat disc – boring chocolate but being spaceship-shaped makes up for it
Malteser - not unpleasant, but so dull
Orange – weird love/hate thing
Raisin – blech
Nut - glad it's gone
Coconut? Don't think I ever got one of those!

Revels are brilliant, I love how you always have that risk of something nasty, as a PP said. It makes the nice ones so much more enjoyable.

Must get some now!

Coffee revels are my favourites, with the peanut ones. Will gladly give away any coconut or orange revels.

YAABVU. Revels are the sweepings off the Mars factory floor, chucked into a vat of melted chocolate. Avoid at all costs.

I love the coffee ones.
And I love the coffee creams in any box of chocs.

I hate the toffee ones and the raisin ones (boring)
Never had a coconut one are they an old or new thing?

Totally unreasonable. Coffee ones are the best.

Marks and Spencer currently do a box of after dinner coffee flavoured chocolates, omg they are divine.

And I love the coffee creams in Roses etc too.

I love coffee sweets.

Hate coconut, strawberry, orange type sweets.

I bite revels in half and give the shot ones to DH.

Yabuuuuuuuuu. Coffee is my favourite and always has been. When that weird revel eating contest advert was on tv my best friend and I copied it and would regularly partake in our own contests. If I got an orange I lost, if he got a coffee he lost. whenever he got an orange he'd mock the "but I like orange" thing from the advert and I'd do it for coffee Grin, ahh simple times...

Orange is rank and the hard toffee one if that's still in there, total teeth breaker.

YANBU. I stopped buying Revels in the basis that I couldn't stand the not-knowing of coffee vs orange.

I'm a mint poppets gal now.
