To say what's the big deal about trolls?

Since they thrive off attention, why do people keep creating separate threads and getting upset about them? Obviously if something isn't true, why do you need to get annoyed about it? So what if something is a story, I don't see the issue. You could help someone else in the long run.

Like that thread about teenage pregnancy etc, why do people get worked up?

Same goes for the thread yesterday about her boyfriend putting her baby in a pickle jar.

Oh you're back.

raininginspringtime · 07/04/2016 19:46

Report if you don't believe it.

Thornrose · 07/04/2016 19:46

B. Make up sad stories, but only for financial gain (not kicks)

Your financial advice for my teen, homeless, pregnancy thread could fit neatly into type B. Just using it an example not suggesting anything!

Here's our policy on trolls

We do advise all our members to be aware that not everyone on t'internet is who they say they are, and that, although we're awed daily by the astonishing support our members give each other through life's trickier twists and turns, we'd always caution anyone never to give more of themselves to another poster, emotionally or financially, than they can afford to spare.

We'd also remind y'all to report anything that doesn't quite look right to you
Much Appreciated.

You don't, of course.

WellErrr · 07/04/2016 19:51

Olivia, I have reported as I don't think it's quite right.

Passmethecrisps · 07/04/2016 19:51

Most peculiar.

I feel like I am standing with a bottle saying drink me. Not sure I fancy it frankly

Has the other thread now been zapped? I didn't post on it but was watching

LilacSpunkMonkey · 07/04/2016 20:20

I have no words really.

How many times do we go through this? It's Trollception.

But let's be honest here, HQ like the odd troll. 'Funny' ones go into classics. And end up in Trending. And on Twitter and Facebook. And bring in new members.

Nothing like a good troll for publicity, eh?

Boogers · 07/04/2016 20:21

I'm very confused! Confused

raininginspringtime · 07/04/2016 20:24

wombattoo · 07/04/2016 20:27

NotNob · 07/04/2016 20:38

Can someone give me a funny troll thread from classics, please? Not seen any of those....

TheDuchessOfArbroathsHat · 07/04/2016 20:53

What's that thing where the arsonist is compelled to get involved with the firefighters after the event? Yeah. That. Hmm
