Sorry, I know this should be added to FB shite but I couldn't find a recent thread.

Scrolling down FB I came across these very helpful 'period boxes'. You can even subscribe and get them sent to your work Confused.

Now AIBU or is there actually a market for this?

Just had a look at their various boxes. The Maternity Starter Pack made me chuckle. What use are panty liners to anyone in the first couple of weeks after giving birth?

Absolutely ridiculous IMO. Have to laugh at the thought that popped into my head - could you imagine if people had them delivered to work!

I would imagine it's not quite as exciting as having your Graze box delivered to the office.

DH made me a period box himself once Blushcomplete with Colin caterpillars, a cuddly kitten and some tissues Grin

It was sweet because he made it for me as kind of a joke but I wouldn't buy one

I think it's quite a neat idea - it combines the trend for monthly beauty subscriptions with the convenience factor of things like Amazon subscriptions (that do regular deliveries of nappies and suchlike). I quite like the idea of having some little treats to look forward to rather than just the crap stuff.

Can't see myself paying for it, but it's no crazier than things like graze boxes.

Nope. I don't need a period box because they wouldn't have my essentials - bath salts, codeine, heat patches for my back when out and about plus I use washables.

I have just started getting an art subscription box - scrawlrbox.uk/ and I've had this one for a while too notanotherbill.com/

all the others seem a bit crap tbh.

The idea of a one off one for first period isn't a bad Idea though. If I had a daughter I'd probably put one together as a one off.

I worry what they will come up with for men :O

I'd rather subscribe to a service for sending sweet treats. I normally use a mooncup, no subscription required for that.

Ah ha - Maryz. I wondered who you were. I've never noticed your name before (I mean that as nicely as possible) and tonight you're all over the place. if you haven't read the MN Royalty thread you'll have no idea what I'm on about

Really cringey and patronising. And i bet the pads are scented and make the chocolate stink.

Don't apologise Mary - it's nice to meet you. Apparently you're a saint who dishes out wonderful advice on teenagers. Smile I'll need some of that one day!

6-7 days is the longest they cater for. With mine being a minimum of 14 days it'd be bloody expensive! (Pardon the pun).

My mooncup has saved me a fortune, and those bars of chocolate are about a million times too small! And Cadbury tastes like shit.
