For me it's ears, small but not a perfect shape. Wish I had the £££ and nerve to get them fixed but in reality most people probably don't notice them.

Used to really get me down though.

AIBU to ask if you have any physical flaws you dislike but people generally wouldn't notice unless it was pointed out?

Canada I LOVE milia. Get at them with a sterile needle and pop the little balls out. So bloody satisfying.
outs self as a sporner

CantWaitForWarmWeather · 31/03/2016 23:24

Haha Fink that's me in day to day life anyway! Grin I bet I don't go a day without being shocked at something. Today it was my shopping bill...

missapples · 31/03/2016 23:25

Aaagggghhh my eyes, they have a different appature. Drives me mad and if there was a way of fixing it I would pay for it. Mentioned it to a few people and they don't know what I mean but it's the first thing I notice on any photos

cornishglos · 31/03/2016 23:43

I have loads if imperfections which don't really bother me but I hate my teeth. They look awful in photos.

toastandbutterandjam · 01/04/2016 00:03

I absolutely hate my teeth. I am finally after years of wanting to die because of them getting them sorted.
I thought it would be a straightforward brace for around 18 months. I was very, very wrong.
I had a slight dislike for them when I was young, but I fell out with someone and they then decided to be very nasty about my entire appearance (especially my teeth). I've had major problems (MH issues, hospital admissions) since then. Wasn't really that bothered about my appearance before then.

comfortblankie · 01/04/2016 00:13

My underbite, sometimes it makes me look properly pissed off in candid snaps.

And I think my ears aren't level, certain styles of glasses or sunglasses sit noticeably crooked Blush

TheToys · 01/04/2016 00:30

Funny shaped nose, deep nasolabial folds ahead of time.

If I had tons of money I would have laser hair removal, dermar fillers on face, surgery on nose, possibly lipo. Maybe even one of those leg lengthening procedures some Oriental women do to gain more height and slimmer looking, longer legs.

PastaLaFeasta · 01/04/2016 01:02

I've lasered off my upper lip hair but that was no. 1 hated thing, plus acne which is cleared on the pill. I've got one eye lid which droops a bit so my eyes are asymmetric - runs in the family with mum and DC1 - and I have a bump on my nose with a slightly bulbous tip, I would be ridiculous getting it 'fixed' as its a normal nose but the perfect, surgically enhanced, photoshopped media images do have an impact. It was amazing how much better some people looked after nose jobs, even if their noses were ok before.

I also need to lose a stone and tone up, including the arms, but most people would claim I'm slim, they just don't see the flabby bits. I've always hated my fat legs most, especially my knees, but my tummy isn't great post kids either, thankfully my tiny boobs are now an acceptable size even with stretch marks and scars. Although I'd be happy to gain five stone and have no boobs if I could be rid of my chronic back/pelvic pain.

curren · 01/04/2016 07:22

I think most people have things they hate.

My upper arms always have small whiteheads. Tried all sorts but they won't go and they have left marks.

I don't hate anything about my face. But don't particularly like it. Nothing I would have surgery on.

Not a huge fan of my bum. When I put on weight it goes straight there and, for some reason is a triangle shape, when you look from the side Blush . when I am a healthy weight it's as flat as a pancake and jeans hang off it.

FindoGask · 01/04/2016 07:36

I have a tiny thread vein snaking out of one nostril that looks like a stray nose hair, wonky eyes, floppy earlobes and a random blob of hyperpigmentation on my cheek that I got when I was pregnant and never went away.

BoxofSnails · 01/04/2016 07:43

My ileostomy bag - I think I wear clothes that conceal it well but I am paranoid about it.
Also the side of my mouth broke down when I was intubated 4 yrs ago for 2 weeks in ITU and there is a, to me, obvious scar running sideways under my cheek. Compared with the severity of the situation at the time it's not exactly a problem but I am very conscious of it.
And the more usual, overweight issues. But I've done quite a bit of work in reading and meditating on accepting me as I am.

YerTiz · 01/04/2016 07:50

I have indented scars on my forehead. I didn't really notice them until I turned 30 so I don't know when I got them. The only person that ever commented on them was my mum who mentioned I had pox scarring (that was before I'd ever noticed it). I did also have bad skin in my 20s.

I'm a bit obsessive over it now Sad. Sometimes Inthink it's not so bad, others I think I look awful and everyone else must do too.

I mentioned it to DH once, he said he'd never noticed it. Not sure I believe him but too scared to ask again.

I think sometimes it's because of how good cameras are now - no flaw is left hidden!

Mousefinkle · 01/04/2016 08:04

I have incredibly thick curly hair. Not even a nice curly, it's just a bushy frizzy mess Sad. My DP says I look like a sexy lion Grin. It's really tough to have a good hair day, there's always parts sticking out that shouldn't be. It never looks tidy and glossy like some women's. Then again I don't spend hours on it so maybe that's more my issue...

Things I USED to be paranoid about as a teenager that just no longer care about/have grown to accept/don't understand what my issue was:
My eyebrows. When I was a teen pencil thin eyebrows were all the rage so I detested my big eyebrows that have the weird up bit in the middle like Madonna in the eighties iykwim. I used to pluck them to death. Thankfully now big eyebrows are in fashion so I love them Grin.

My hands. I used to be convinced I had huge manly hands to a point where I'd try hiding them in sleeves.

Feet. I have a very big big toe and the other toes are tiny. I don't think it looks as bad now but when I was younger I wouldn't dream of wearing open/peep toe shoes. Regularly struggled in sweaty plimsoles because I refused to wear sandals.

gamerwidow · 01/04/2016 08:17

My eyes are slightly different sizes and one side of my face is slightly lower than the other. You can only notice if I wear glasses where the top of the frame falls below my eyebrows then you can see one is higher than the other. No one notices this and (without being boastful) I am generally thought to be attractive. I think most people don't notice the minutiae of people's appearance.

StrawberryMouse · 01/04/2016 08:39

Crooked teeth so I never smile in photos which is a bit of a family joke, stretch marks on my stomach and thighs (thanks dc!), less full, shapely boobs than I used to have (again dc!) and teenage skin now I'm in my 30s (great!).

There's nothing really wrong with my nose, it works ok and isn't hideous but I would like a lovely slim-tipped one (mine sticks up at the end). Narurally fuller lips and longer legs would be nice too if anyone is offering?

CakeNinja · 01/04/2016 08:52

Ooh loads!
I've got a wonky tooth on the top row to one side. I rarely do a mouth open smile.
My knees are really bulky. Usually wear things to cover up but on holiday it's tricky.
I think i have an infection brewing in one of my toenails so no flip flops etc.
I've got a mole on my bikini line which sometimes grows a hair.
My actual hair is horrendous. It takes me two hours between washing and being able to leave the house in a presentable fashion (out of control Slighlty Afro, coarse, dry) that I rarely wash it, never brush it. People really compliment my on my hair but only after I've spent hours grooming which I absolutely hate.
I have a small patch of vitiligo on my forehead which is always there as I don't wear makeup.
I'm such a catch Grin

Awholelottanosy · 01/04/2016 09:16

I hate my teeth too! Rarely smile in photos as they just look weird. Don't know if others notice but had a blind date with a guy once and the first thing he said to me was, what's wrong with your teeth? You look like you got punched in the mouth! Shock

I also have vitiligo on my hands which I think looks really ugly. It's ok in the winter but more noticeable in the summer. A few years ago I went to India and when I was there, I had some beautiful henna tattoos on my hands done. I seriously thought about having some done permanently on my hands to cover up the vitiligo. But I didn't.

Awholelottanosy · 01/04/2016 09:18

Gap where I lost a tooth due to shitty dentistry, not at the front and far enough back so it's hidden day to day but when I smile broadly wham there it is. All my bloody wedding photos I'm drawn to it and as a result I like hardly any of them.

And I have a nose like a squashed mushroom.

dakin1 · 01/04/2016 09:25

I hated my crooked teeth so got out a £3k loan and paid for braces and teeth whitening in my late 20s. Slightly embarrassing having braces for 9 months and people said I was mad spending so much in my teeth but haven't regretted it for a moment. Best decision I ever made and feel so much more confident. My cellulite, big bum and chubby arms are another matter though...

TheDowagerCuntess · 01/04/2016 09:27

My tree trunk legs.

I absolutely cannot wear skinny jeans or leggings (not great loss, I hate them - albeit probably for this reason). I'm not a dress person so luckily can wear cigarette style pants, as they skim along my tree trunks and don't cling to every last shapeless plank of them. I'm tall and slim and I don't think they're noticeable to other people, but I really do hate my legs.

saoirse31 · 01/04/2016 09:29

Am v over weight, particularly stomach... Hair also, never looks great, and big thread vein on face tho often use make up to disguise.

This thread is making me think as to why I'm pissed off about these things esp weight but have done nothing to sort... Mmm

pearlylum · 01/04/2016 09:30

Awholelottanosy are they actual tattoos or just henna ones?

LikeSilver · 01/04/2016 09:46

I have a wonky nose (my mum has the same) but nobody has ever noticed unless I've told them, so I wouldn't say it bothers me. I'm a bit fat (size 14-16) and would ideally like to be thinner but DH thinks I'm hot, so I don't do much about it.

I have a wonky tooth, scars and stretch marks and I quite like all of those. Funny.

I most definitely, 100%, like myself much more in my 30s than I did as a self-obsessed teen.

Awholelottanosy · 01/04/2016 10:28

Pearly they're just henna ones. Never had the nerve to get real ones!
