For me it's ears, small but not a perfect shape. Wish I had the £££ and nerve to get them fixed but in reality most people probably don't notice them.

Used to really get me down though.

AIBU to ask if you have any physical flaws you dislike but people generally wouldn't notice unless it was pointed out?

I have really dark upper lip hair. I wax/veet it off but even when it's freshly taken off I'm convinced I have 5 o'clock shadow Blush

PalcumTowder · 31/03/2016 21:44

I have a wonky jaw. Everyone insists they can't see it but I literally look like Lembit Opik.

CantWaitForWarmWeather · 31/03/2016 21:47

crumbly Have you ever considered having it threaded? People say it's really painful but it's nowhere near as painful as the eyebrows! Since I've been doing that the hair grows back less and less.

PageStillNotFound404 · 31/03/2016 21:48

Fink I'm exactly the same re the clothed/naked thing.

FuckOffDavid · 31/03/2016 21:50

I have ginger hair/very pale skin which i love, but I hate my freckles. Most people think they are cute.

MeadowHay · 31/03/2016 21:52

Well, there are a few things I don't like that people definitely do notice because they're so obvious on my face.

But things that are not so obvious: well I am really hairy, runs in the family. Which as I say is obvious on my face but I guess not so obvious everywhere else necessarily, but I obviously remove it (shaving/epilating) or cover it. Except my really hairy arms that I don't do anything about. Don't know if people notice them or not, nobody has commented on them but then they wouldn't, would they?

My nails and toenails are all wonky and weird because I have Asperger's which affects my coordination so I can't cut them nicely. Doubt anyone notices though.

Split ends in my hair because I hardly ever get it cut but again who really notices that?

whattheseithakasmean · 31/03/2016 21:52

Oh my ears. They aren't huge, but pretty big in relation to me (I am petite) and stick out at the top. They are OK further down, but the top bit is too big and sticky out. I have always hated them - I tried super gluing them flat as a teen, but it didn't hold them.

I have many imperfections, but if I ever had cosmetic surgery (I wouldn't) it would be to pin back the top of my ears.

Fink · 31/03/2016 22:03

Thanks, Page! Misery loves company so I'm glad to have an ugly naked buddy Wink

Can'tWait, you have got to be kidding! Top lip threading is the most painful format of hair removal ever! I barely notice eyebrows (or legs & underarm waxing), but top lip is easily worse than Hollywood wax. It does work though!

thestarryeyedsurprise · 31/03/2016 22:22

Fluorosis on my teeth
A rather large humpy nose
And rather large ears that flap when it's super windy.

Oh and I look quite shit when I'm naked.

ephemeralfairy · 31/03/2016 22:27

I always have dirty great black circles under my eyes. And quite bad rosacea.

suspiciousofgoldfish · 31/03/2016 22:30

Not me! I am stunning.

Sallydonavan and her fat eyelids are my fave thing on this thread.

I never ever talk about my shortcomings to friends, I think it only highlights them more. Apart from the standard polite "don't be ridiculous, you look lovely" reply I give to all friends when they moan about their looks, I try not to get caught up in that boring yet risky conversation.

One day we'll all be really old, and wonder why we ever worried about stuff like this.

I was a total babe before I had kids. Why on earth I didn't walk round in a bikini more I don't know.

HunterHearstHelmsley · 31/03/2016 22:31

I look jowly even though others say I don't.
My thumbs are weird.

honeylulu · 31/03/2016 22:39

I've got a big nose which also has a small dent in the bridge and light scarring around the nostrils. Is not too bad I suppose.
I always said if I had the money is have rhinoplasty.
However I do now have the money and still have the same old conk. Turns out I am fonder of it than I thought.

GC79 · 31/03/2016 22:42

I also have dreadful dark circles - can anyone recommend any good make up?!

GC79 · 31/03/2016 22:43

And no proper jawline - I hate that.

CantWaitForWarmWeather · 31/03/2016 22:44

Fink Do you think so?!
I thought it was quick, a bit uncomfortable but definitely not painful. I mustn't have many nerves around there or something Grin

Bikini waxing and eyebrow threading - I find both of those painful. Bikini waxing is particularly horrific. A Hollywood wax would be like complete torture!

TwentyCupsOfTea · 31/03/2016 22:49

I hate in no particular order; nose width, shape of hips, broad shoulders, thighs, feet, back, top of spine, fat on my lower back and calves and stomach. The layer of fat on my ribs. My chin. My breasts. My armpits.

Most people assure me I don't look how I feel but it's hard.

EnthusiasmDisturbed · 31/03/2016 22:55

My eyes are too dark

I think I often look I am staring when I'm not

And off course being overweight i do not carry it well at all

CantWaitForWarmWeather · 31/03/2016 22:57

GC I like to use No7 Stay Perfect foundation. It gives good coverage but it's not too cakey. And then I use their illuminating concealer over the top of it under my eyes. Illuminating concealers are amazing.
But underneath that I use Clinique "All About Eyes" eye cream, which helps brighten and hydrate the eye area and keep makeup in place. It's expensive but it lasts as you don't need a lot of it.

SistersOfPercy · 31/03/2016 22:57

Here's a weird one.....

You know the piece of skin between your gum and top lip? I had mine removed in my early teens as it was apparently acting like an elastic band and affecting my dental brace. Because it's not there I feel like my nose moves more when I talk.

Told you it was weird Blush

LadyTrevelyan · 31/03/2016 22:57

I've developed jowls. Horrible.

CanadaMoose · 31/03/2016 22:57

I have milia around my eyes. The kind babies get, then it fades. Mine showed up mid puberty and never left. I always hope nobody else has noticed, but my mom has commented a few times that it's not gone away.

Seren85 · 31/03/2016 22:58

My teeth. They are crooked and gappy due to teeth being removed as a child but the remaining ones not moving into position as expected. They were deemed not bad enough to require braces. I really wish my parents had insisted. My hatred of them led to an avoidance of adequate dental hygiene as a teen which obviously also had an impact. I don't smile with my mouth open, not even at my wedding. I can't look in a mirror and speak e.g at the hairdressers. Whenever I mention it everyone, including dentists, say "Eh? Your teeth are fine!"

Fink · 31/03/2016 23:02

But you must have very sensitive eyebrows, Can'tWait ... I am now imagining you like some silent era film actress with a massively over-expressive face to compensate for no dialogue - hugely raised eyebrows to indicate shock! Wink

I, on the other hand, would appear to be like Baldrick with the slug on his top lip doing the Charlie Chaplin impression!

phlebasconsidered · 31/03/2016 23:09

I lost all my hair after illness and since then it didn't grow back all over. I kind of have a Vincent Price male pattern peak going on. I hate it. It's going at the crown too. I am horribly aware of it.

That said, it's an improvement on no hair or body hair at all!

Oh, and my mole on my face has started growing hair.
