To think you should get some sort of incentive to use self-check out tills in shops?

Seems mad to me that you are doing staff's work and you get nothing back. Even just 10% off the total of your bill would be a start.

100% agree about e-mail or online vs phone. I have sacked off both Virgin Media and 3 recently for demanding I call them up to get something done. That isn't the same as ss checkouts that don' t work though. No checkout people ever ask me intrusive questions - maybe I look scary.
