I'm not sure. Font is definitely less readable, and too big, plus there's too much whitespace, therefore less on each screenful.

A lot of people who are dyslexic use a colour in the background to make text easier to read.

A lot of people find the starkness of black against white difficult to read unless the font is such that it is "thick enough to make it obvious.

To me this new font looks grey so I'm having a really difficult time when there more than a line

It took me a few minutes to realise it was a site change rather than an accidental font increase I'd made. Overall I like it. It feels spacious and airy in here now, but I do think the font is a bit harder to read now.

I like it...sorry for thos dog you who hate it but to me it looks cleaner and clearer.

I like it its clearer to read you will get used to it in a few days

For those who like it I can only repeat, anyone with older eyes, sight issues, dyslexia etc may find it less easy to read. It won't get any easier to read with practice or time.

It will need some small tweaks to make it pleasantly accessible to all.

I like it, I've got older eyes . Well 51 year old eyes. The more I look at it the more I like it..

It isn't about liking/not liking, it is about vision, clarity etc. It is perfectly possible to keep the typeface, which isn't horrendous, but to make small tweaks that would make it equally legible to all readers.

After all, publishers, teachers etc do it all the time! MNHQ are listening, they are making changes and, hopefully, it will al be well soon.

It changed whilst I was on the I-pad and it was fine there.

Well I'm 52 and wear glasses and it seems perfectly clear and I like it.

I do have my font size set to 125%. I don't know if that would make a difference to the clarity for other people.

I'm not exactly in the first flush of youth and wear glasses, and I still find it clearer than the previous font.

I've got older eyes but I have never yet needed specs for the pc. I might now, though. Hmph.

I like it but where's the logo?

I feel dizzy.

It looks like it's in the wrong ratio like in the old days when a 70mm classic film came on the telly and it would start with the characters looking all long and thin and tall then they would switch it to pan and scan.

It looks exactly the same on my android phone, so I have no idea what these changes are...
