Thank you Mumsnet. This week I have eaten all sorts of toasty machine concoctions, stocked up on Double Deckers and Starbars and have double peanut butter Magnums in the freezer.

DS will be in bed in about an hour and I expect all remaining chocolate and ice creams to be gone before morning.

I'm supposed to be on a diet!!! Grin

I love M&S clotted cream ice-cream with honeycomb. Had to buy it yesterday otherwise I'd suffer withdrawal syndrome.

LastFirstEverything · 14/03/2016 18:59

PLEASE, someone, tell me what the toastie thread is/ where it is! I searched and found some old threads, but is this a new one?

(Coincidentally I bought a toastie maker yesterday, inspired by a café lunch which was amazing.)

ProvisionallyAnxious · 14/03/2016 19:00

I live next door to a Booths. I need say no more.

I am going to the Lakes soon and am seriously, seriously excited about being near a Booths again. Best supermarket ever.

Awholelottanosy · 14/03/2016 19:01

Here it is! But don't read it, it'll make you fat...,

ClopySow · 14/03/2016 19:04

I need to know more about a crunchie toastie. I have a feeling it may change my life.

doughnutslikefannys · 14/03/2016 19:06

Kissingfish how will you do another 15,000 tonight ? I am full of admiration but how do you do 30,000 a day ? I would have to walk all day to do that ! (Sorry to derail thread ....)

bakeoffcake · 14/03/2016 19:10

How are you going to do 15,000 steps between now and bedtime? Shock

Up and down the stairs a thousand times

KissingFish · 14/03/2016 19:13

I go for walks during the day but also jog on the spot in my living room to get my last steps in. Exercise with an almost 2 year old has to fit in wherever it can. I'd usually have done more than 15,000 by now but had a busy day doing none busy things.

I should be at 30,000 by 8:30, 9:00 max. Plenty of time to eat back my weight in calories.

Ffs! Will you lot feck off! Nasty feckers, talking about fattening, additive filled drool food! I'm away for a healthy salad tin of fruit salad and ice cream, followed by the giant Easter egg oh yes.

OpiesOldLady · 14/03/2016 19:29

She's going to walk to Booths to buy the chocolate hot cross buns. Obviously. Grin

ClopySow · 14/03/2016 19:33

Do i need to break up the crunchie derek or are we talking whole?

Fuck. This is going to change my life. I can feel it.

carabos · 14/03/2016 19:36

Do they have pistachio magnums in Booths? I could walk there and get one, get in a few steps on the way (it's round the corner) and run into the OP in the chocolate hot x bun aisle while I'm there. I'll wear my MN scarf ...

hellhasnofurylikeahungrywoman · 14/03/2016 19:40

My daughter has just made this for her partner as it's his birthday today. I think she owes it to me much more than him, I looked after her for 25 years, he's only been in her life for 8 years.

Anniegetyourgun · 14/03/2016 19:42

I didn't know at the time. I was intrigued by the silver

I can understand that. Sneaky buggers. Champagne is not silver. The best kind is either pale gold in a glass or light brown in a truffle. Smuggling it into ice cream doesn't seem right somehow.
