I've given her pretty short shrift. Thanked her for the advice, pointed out I don't drink a drop Monday - Thursday and reminded her I also had a g&t when her play dates mum came to pick up her friend (if she's counting).

She's quoting unit limits at me and refused to pass me the glass DHpoured.
Sheesh. Is this how it's going to be if I let her stay up on a Saturday night?

Are we going to turn into Patsy and Saffie?

Definitely starting to feel like bedtime (for her). Grin

I get the same. DD (8) walked in last night and said 'oh you're drinking beer, I could smell it when I walked in the room'. Oh good, now bugger off! ;)

Gah! Sanctimonious kids. I get it from my dd about recycling. 'Remember to wash that out and recycle it to save the earth. We have to recycle everything as so many penguins are dying' or some such. Yes, that's nice, now go away.

OP, buy that t-shirt that reads 'The liver is evil and must be punished!'

Once at church over Easter the vicar was talking to the children about how God loves us, he asked them 'what is the most important thing for your parents, that they are always thinking about and making sure there is plenty in the house' (meaning 'love' obviously) and a little boy shouted 'wine!' Oh dear, we all laughed and tried not to look at his parents who must have been mortified.

DS marched into our bedroom this morning brandishing two bottles of budweiser (my sister and bil are staying) And said in a loud voice "whose bottles are these and why do they still have a bit of beer in the bottom?!"
He's well trained ;)

DS age 9 said in tesco really loudly, is it really necessary to buy all that beer, do you really need that much Blush I just replied 'you have met my friends right'? The cashier sniggered.
