To think this is cheeky as fuck?

Sitting in McDonald's car park earlier and a chap in a van pulled up. He got out and started pulling loads of rubbish from said van (cans, bottles, papers and such), stuck it in a carrier bag, dumped it next to one of the bins and then drove off!

I thought it was really rude of him- the staff have enough to do without having to lug his waste into the bin! Especially as he hadn't even bought anything!

I got the registration number and gave it to the manager bur the friend I was with thinks I'm being unreasonable. Am I?

"than just chucked" not "and just chucked...."

Are you mad, Matt? She'll eat you up and spit your balls out, even if you don't have any. And she'll do it in a 3 word sentence. Be afraid.

Suggest you pay her a compliment now and quick.

No-one fucks with Worra.

I imagine her with grit. Along the lines of "I had 3 children down pit, got up, gave me husband his tea, had 7 more kids, sold telly to keep tax man at bay, didn't take no shit then or any other time".

Try singing "let it go" to her - it may help. Wear a dress when you do it.

Worra is a Londener so it's unlikely she'd be down a pit

Worra is an absolute pussy cat! I dont get the fear tbh Wink

Unless the rubbish he cleared out of his car included a fridgefreezer and an old mattress, you are being unreasonable. I imagine the manager had a chuckle at you after you left.

Are there no civic amenity sites?

RudeElf, if you mean 'dumps', yes, there are, but you can't take your rubbish on the bus to them.

"My local McDonald's does loads in the community - they sent staff to clear a playground that had some been trashed and are now sponsoring it."

That doesn't really make up for their damage they're doing to our health. I accept that people have a responsibility to make the right choices too...

yes, there are, but you can't take your rubbish on the bus to them.

This guy was in a van.

I am a sales rep and live in my car pretty much. I do this all the time! I also regularly run in, use their loo and then run out again.

I do provide maccy d's with an unhealthy amount of business, but no necessarily at the point which I need to clear my car or have a wee. Swings and roundabouts innit?

One carrier bag next to a bin hardly counts as fly tipping!

So he drove all the way to McDonalds just to put rubbish in their bin. What's wrong with his own bin.
I think giving out registration numbers is going a tad too far though. I might have thought in my own head. Oh that's a bit cheeky, but I wouldn't run telling tales. I've got enough worries of my own

Blimey, no-one suggested he drove all the way to McDonalds just to put rubbish in the bin Grin

He was probably passing, or more likely he ate in there but the OP didn't realise as she was sitting in the car park and only saw the van pull up near the bin.

Putting your crap next to a bin rather than actually in it is littering. Why couldn't the arsehole take it home with him and put it in his own dustbin?

His problem has suddenly become everyone else's, which seems to be very common nowadays. It's bit like those other arseholes who festoon trees and bushes with their plastic bags of dogshit

Has anyone got any tickets left for the telltomtit chamionships? It's touch and go between this and the sign in the cake shop (which was laminated you know) and a few others I can't remember no. I think the cake shop has it in the bag personally but this is a close second 🏁

rubbish goes IN the bin. Next to the bin is not IN the bin. It is windy, it will go everywhere.

dirty litterbug. Doesn't he have a bin at home, or is he too idle to use it? And if this is the UK, there's no excuse - plenty of recycling opportunities too.

so he is lazy and filthy.

Lazy, filthy and an arsehole? For not chucking his rubbish out the window. Am I missing something?

YANBU OP. I'd have reported if I'd seen them doing it here.
You pay for waste collections privately in Ireland so you see this sort of thing all the time, especially during the summer tourist season.
Stuff dumped next to tiny street rubbish bins.
I was very annoyed when I discovered some fecker had filled our wheelie bin with their crap after it had been emptied but before we'd brought it in. (Matter of a couple of hours, tops.)
It's even more annoying as they weigh the bins and charge you according to the amount of rubbish you chuck.
There are council rubbish sites available but you have to pay to go in (barrier system) and pay extra for chucking certain types of rubbish, mattresses, washing machines etc.

If you're taking the time to put everything in a carrier bag, then why not put it into the fucking bin rather than leaving it on the floor to spread rubbish everywhere? The bin was empty- I'd been over a couple of minutes before to put my food wrappers in.

I also don't understand why so many of you think it's okay to dump rubbish on a company who has to pay to have their waste taken away. It's rude and entitled.

This took place in a town with a tip that's open 7 days a week!

Cheeky yes, but as it was McDonalds seems justice, for all the muck they have inflicted on the world.

I couldn't give a shit about Mcdonalds as a whole- it's the staff in that branch I feel sorry for, having to go out and clean up after such a lazy git!
