To think Burger King ripped me off today

I took the plunge and went through their drive thru today. Now I don't usually use Burger King and I wasn't sure what to order and felt a bit rushed as they where waiting for me to order and there was a car behind me so I quickly glanced over the menu and ordered a Bacon double Cheeseburger priced at Ialhtough in my haste I didn't really see the price.
Well when I took it out of the wrapper I coudnt believe it I thought perhaps they had mistakenly given me a childs burger it was that small.
I could have paid £1.49 at mcdonalds instead and it would have even tasted better.
What a complete utter rip off I feel cheated.
Anybody else had this disappointment at Burgerking.

My husband refers to the unpleasant surprise of finding something is much dearer than it has any right to be as a 'Burger King Moment'. So, 'I was fancying that shirt in M&S, then I checked the price tag- total Burger King moment!'

It is really expensive! Costs over £20 for me and 3 kids, I did have a mushroom double cheese for £1.59 the other day though and that was delicious.

I used to work in a motorway services at Burger King for a few years. I used to be embarrassed when totalling up the price and asking the customer if they wanted to 'Go Large' too. Most of us that worked there used to dream of Maccy's burgers and fries but I did and still do love a Bacon Double Cheeseburger (not xl).

We stopped doing the mushroom double Swiss while I still worked there which must of been 1999. Lots of people still remember that burger!
