I'm just curious as some do, some don't

Nope. I would hate to climb into dirty water.

Ah well, visitors can choose to to play risk with our door or wait until they leave. I think everyone has just used the toilet without any life trauma so far.

At home when it's just Dh and I and Children the door is rarely even closed properly! My children tend to keep each company in the toilet half the time, reading each other books or telling jokes whilst they poo! they must be chimps or something

Doublebubblebubble · 14/02/2016 11:40

Nope.
I shower everyday. Bath on Saturday to chill
Dh - showers everyday - no bath
Dd7 - showers every day since she was 4 - bath every other day to pls with toys etc (proper water baby
Ds (17 weeks) has a bath every other day on alternate days to dd - water baby too.

Sharing bath water reminds me of monty python #every sperm is sacred..

Nope.

I sometimes jump in an hour after my daughter has had her bath when I need a soak. More than likely, I will have a shower on day today basis. I find that having a bath takes a lot of my precious time even though am not doing much. I absolutely don't know why.

Grilledaubergines · 14/02/2016 12:32

I wouldn't do it.

But then I like a 2 hour bath with a good book and regular top-ups of hot water. No place for any loitering outside the door waiting to jumping into my water.

stumblymonkey · 14/02/2016 12:45

No. It would really gross me out if I had to.

I wouldn't want to bathe in someone else's dead skin cells and soap scum. Yuck.

I understand it's cheaper and better for the environment but so is having a shower...so I'll stick to the shower!

I only take a bath for occasional relaxation as I don't think they're very clean anyway...similar to washing dishes in dish water and not rinsing them...

Gruntfuttock · 14/02/2016 14:05

No. Why on earth would I share bathwater? As a matter of fact, I'm the only one in the family who has a bath. My husband and daughter prefer to shower, but if we all had baths we certainly wouldn't be sharing the bathwater. Why would we? Confused

ohmywhatamisaying · 14/02/2016 14:08

As kids we used to share bathwater, always getting in after one of my parents. Didn't think anything of it then.

Today I get the hot horror sweats thinking of it - ew.
