Maybe I'm late on this one, but one of her latest singles is amazing

She seems to be very grounded despite being a child star and got down to virtually nothing in the bank to buy her artistic freedom.

Ugh alltoomuch.

I'm very angry with you. Angry

I'd managed to forget all about those awful Bedingfield siblings until I read your post.

CrystalMcPistol · 23/01/2016 19:20

I agree though that the planned kidnap sounded absolutely horrific. I'd be nervous for a long, long time afterwards. It would be so easy to turn into a recluse.

alltoomuchrightnow · 23/01/2016 19:26

haha Crystal. They were immensely annoying. I remember when NB became all americanised and started pronouncing her name differently.. 'Nur-tarsh-a'
rather than 'na-tash-a'

Debbriana1 · 23/01/2016 21:52

Fuck I love Natasha or shall I say did love the old songs.

redexpat · 23/01/2016 22:01

Does anyone remember her being on the Radio 1 breakfast show when she had just got back from the usa and had appeared at an award show with pink hair? She wouldnt shut up, and just didnt LISTEN to the DJ - was is still Chris Evans then?

Debbriana1 · 23/01/2016 22:25

Yes I do remember it. It was when she had released the song "don't cha want ride"

TrollTheRespawnJeremy · 23/01/2016 22:40

That Brit Awards video is a thing of beauty.

Totally awkward.

alltoomuchrightnow · 24/01/2016 16:31

If we needed a reminder of how annoying she was..

Soundtrack To Pitt And Jolie.Joss Stone was starstruck after Hollywood hunk BRAD PITT admitted he listens to her sensual music when he is relaxing with his lover ANGELINA JOLIE.The teen soul star claims Pitt made his revelation while they were backstage at the London leg of last summer's (JUL05) Live 8 charity gig.Stone says he told her, "You melt us."She explains, "I think 'us' might be him and his little Miss Angelina."

theycallmemellojello · 24/01/2016 17:39

I hate the hate for female stars :(

CrystalMcPistol · 24/01/2016 17:49

Er, what?

People should only criticise male stars?

She's been around for what seems like forever and she's still only 28 Envy

MajesticSeaFlapFlap · 24/01/2016 18:39

so we can only dislike male pop stars?Confused

TooShyShyHushHush · 24/01/2016 19:55

You can hate someone for being a bit out of order without it being about gender surely?

Nones said "Uh...I hate JS because she's got a vagina" have they?

I don't think this all women should stick together no matter what thing does anyone any good.

TrollTheRespawnJeremy · 24/01/2016 20:10

So ridiculous. Having a vagina does not put you above ridicule.

CrystalMcPistol · 24/01/2016 20:19

The idea of me not being able to criticise the arseache that is Jessie J is simply intolerable!

AssembleTheMinions · 24/01/2016 20:28

I had the misfortune to see and hear her sing at a open air concert at Hyde Park. She was really really bad. Could barely make out a word she mumbled.

ewbank · 24/01/2016 20:48

I head her on radio 4 woman's hour talking about the kidnap thing a while ago.

It did sound horrific but she was very flippant about it. Jenny Murray tried in vain to get her to say anything about it other than "oh it was fine, I'm fine, it's all fine"

She really came across as very uninteresting.

theycallmemellojello · 24/01/2016 21:09

Nah I reckon female stars get way more hate because they're women. I know everyone thinks they're immune to prejudice though....

CrystalMcPistol · 24/01/2016 21:13

Oh you reckon do you? Well in that case you must be right!

WanderingNotLost · 24/01/2016 23:57

I met her in New York in 2004 when she was just getting started in the States. She was a knob.

Janeymoo50 · 25/01/2016 00:25

Ok, I've been keeping this. About 8/10 years at her "height", her cousin worked in our company. She told us "top secret" that Joss would be on with a major star at the Brits. It was Robbie, so ok, kinda cool. She also gave 3 (yep) 3 , signed cd's. From what I could tell from the cousin, my friend, it was a large female extended family, and Joss was worshipped.

Lj17lj · 25/01/2016 08:35

Lots of people claim no know or met her. I've never met a celeb

AliceInUnderpants · 25/01/2016 09:33

This post is very similar to the one about Cheryl 'VD' Hmm

redexpat · 27/01/2016 12:48

I thought she was quite good as Anne of Cleeves in The Tudors though.
