I just had a dd, her name is Lily, like the flower.
Dm is calling her Lillian, I know she thinks flower names are 'common' and not a serious name but ffs .

Agree, it's not as though Lily is just a nickname like Danny or Freddy, it is a name in its own right like Rose.
She may not like nicknames as names (I'm not a fan of these) but this isn't the case here, plus even if you had called her Bekky not Rebbeca she should still accept your choice of name.
Deciding what to call your child is a big decision.
Pissing all over that choice is not a little foible but an act of aggression and a display of power.
